One can only hope that simply because of the sheer volume of data, this is a largely useless activity on the part of these spooks.
Overload the Total Information Awareness system!
They don´t really care – it´s all about creating job opportunities in their organization, it doesn´t matter how useful or effective their efforts are.
Of course it is useless. It just provides justification for its arbitrary prosecutions and abuse of power. The sheer numbers make it doubtful the gun will ever get pointed at you. Once the government starts arresting people like Justin, Scott, Jason, Lew Rockwell, etc… you know it is time to get out of this country.
Kind of telling that they refer to themsleves as vengeful. What exactly are they seeking revenge for I wonder? Isn't their bloodlust for 9-11 satisfied yet?
There is a name for people who do this and they appear in ALL authoritarian regimes.
