Stating the obvious. I wonder how long before he's forced to recant or take an early retirement.
Apparently General Allen didn't tell the German that he was having an interview on CBS 60 Minutes. Read, "General Allen Disavows 2014: US Going to Stay in Afghanistan a Longtime". Senators Boozman and Coburn visited Afhanistan this last week end, but have said nothing about the secret negotiations to allow the US to stay for at least ten more years. I called both Senator's offices and the people who answered the phoned seemed to be in a no comment zone when I asked them if General Allen or Ambassador Crocker had talked about the secret negotions.
Would any U.S. general say that? I give him credit for this at least.
If a German General says so, it's must be true. The opinion of us schmucks that have been saying so for 10 years don't count.
