Pompeo: US Will No Longer Tolerate China

Says China sent 'propagandists' into press conferences

In comments at the Richard Nixon Library, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has vowed that the US will “no longer tolerate” Chinese actions, accusing them of threatening the existing global order.

Pompeo said that the US had rescued China’s economy with a trade deal, and that in return China had sent “propagandists into our press conferences.” It’s not clear what that meant, though the US is hostile to Chinese media outlets recently.

This is just the latest of several bellicose comments Pompeo has made on China in recent days, and he continued to bash Huawei as a “national security threat, vowing that the US will take more actions against them.

Pompeo seems to be taking the lead in hostility toward China both domestically and internationally, and all signs are that his is going to continue.
