Suspected US Airstrikes Kill 11 Civilians in Eastern Syria

35 Others Wounded in Attacks Around Town of al-Sur

Heavy airstrikes pounded the northern Deir Ezzor Province town of al-Sur, killing at least 11 civilians and wounding 35 others, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Many of the wounded are in bad shape, and the death toll is expected to rise.

Al-Sur, like the overwhelming majority of the Deir Ezzor Province, is under ISIS control. The Syrian government controls some territory in the provincial capital, and the Kurdish YPG has seized a pair of villages in the far northwest of the province.

That the Kurdish invasion is happening not far from al-Sur, there is considerable speculation that the airstrikes were carried out by US warplanes supporting the Kurds, though as of yet there has been no claim of responsibility from anyone for the attack.

While Syria does launch some airstrikes in Deir Ezzor Province themselves, their focus has mostly been on keeping ISIS away from the airport, and it wouldn’t make much sense for them to suddenly attack al-Sur so far to the north of their sphere of influence.

Does Crimea belong to Jared Kushner?

The US wants regime change in Syria and Moscow Patrick.
And Trump isn’t opposed to his country’s agenda. This is going to be proven out in time. And even if he was, there would be no way of chaning what has been going on since the fall of the Soviet Union. Although Trump may try to claim that he tried and was stopped by the powers that be, it will be as meaningless as everything else he lied about.

You think you are so clever. Trump just lied, and he is one and the same as all the combined warmongering might of both parties. He will just have to reveal himself in due ourse. Suuuure, Don. And why are the warmongerers appollectic since Trump elections? Why have they combined all the powers of their money, media, entertainment, and intelligence connections to dismantle his plan? If he was one of them all along, none of this Soros organizing Mao style cultural revolution — would be necessary.

But remember, many have written him off — many times before. The

Why have both parties turned against Trump? Because he’s mentally ill of course. All the mental health experts in the field are saying so. The Goldwater rule need not be applied to Trump because he’s said enough on t.v. for the experts to judge him without ever seeing him in person.
          That’s just the fact Bianca.
And besides that, he’s told huge lies that he’s been caught in and he just pretends it didn’t happen.

Stick with it Bianca, you might be able to outlast Raimondo!

  • 21.02.2017 US Confirms It Used Depleted Uranium in Syria

The US and its allies have many times attacked Russia for alleged «indiscriminate bombing in support of the Syrian government, including cluster bombs. The accusations have been denied and never proven. Now the US military has confirmed it misinformed public about its use of munitions in Syria which cause harm to civilians.

    DONALD GREATER ISRAEL TRUMP!!!

    • Don

On a brighter note, there’s a good chance that Trump bumbled his way through the televised meeting with Netanyahu and said the wrong things in his ignorance. That will likely mean that he will moderate his stance somewhat. If you can find the piece, watch it happening and it becomes obvious.

It’s the most likely answer for what he seems to be saying and it’s consistent with most of the other mistakes he’s made while speaking out uninformed. His words on US/Russia relations will almost certainly be another example of the same and so will be modified to be acceptable to US foreign policy which has long beeen established on Russia.
I think it’s quite likely that Raimondo has come to understand that now but is stuck on needing to stand with his wrong position on Trump.

      • Bianca

Give it up — you are wrong and proven so. If the swamp overpowers Trump, so be it. But the ginny is out of the bottle. And you cannot shove it back in.
You can rejoyce all you want that the combined Democrat and Republican uniparty war mongerers are winning. That does not take one thing away from the Trump revolution. None. It will just make it stronger — as the will of the people is being smothered.

You are clearly not getting the Israel question. Nethaniahu is between the rock and a hard place. All that Trump did was reveal the dirty secret — that two state solution is not possible anywhere on the West bank. And that one Israel is on the table.
The Lobby is furious — they need the two state myth to keep on expanding Israel settlements, and Israel only roads. So, Trump may have lost this one — offering Israel the whole state in exchange for signing up to a peace agreement, and commiting to borders. But Bibi knows that crossing Trump is not a good idea, as he has quite a backing by Israel’s various factions. So, Trump knows exactly what he is doing — it is Israel and its backers that have a decision to make.

So, REJOICE Don. The deep state that you trust so much has struck back. For now. At least — Tillerson is getting rid of alternative center of power in State Department by obliterating 7th floor. The Deputy power center. Now, the strings linking it to country desks are gone. Now alpointing Bolton or my cat Framkie, is not going to make much difference. One for Trump — while we are watching the immigrant drama.

        • Don

Well at least you’re now to the point of understanding that Trump is not going to change foreign policy on Russia! Now all you are trying to do is shift the blame for Trump’s failure to somebody else.

Fascinating spin you put on the one state solution offer that was meant to appease Netanyahu though! We’ll see Trump change his mind on that too pretty soon.
