Adding to the ever-growing number of US military deployments into Eastern Europe, the Army announced over the weekend that the US will send some 1,000 US troops and vehicles to Orzysy, a town in northeastern Poland, another deployment done as part of the huge “spearhead” force against Russia.
Orzysy is just 85 miles away from the border with the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, and officials are saying that this new collection of ground troops is being put there as part of an effort to “deter Russia,” part of a long-standing NATO narrative of a possible Russian invasion of Europe.
In addition to this large Baltics force, the US also launched two other ground deployments into Eastern Europe in the last week, with troops sent to both Bulgaria and Romania. More deployments are likely to be announced on top of all of this, with Lithuania complaining the thousands of NATO troops sent to the Baltics is no longer enough.
Nations like Poland and Lithuania see the deployment of foreign ground troops are a financial and technological boon, with Western European and US troops expected to provide both an influx of cash into the areas they are deployed and to give the nations access to more advanced military equipment. This has given them a strong incentive to keep playing up the “Russian threat,” and to fly into a rage at the suggestion of normalizing ties with Russia.
US and NATO intensify military deployments on land and sea on Western and Central Russian borders… How long does the Kremlin allow themselves to be encircled before they decide Total War is inevitable? Could anyone image the US response to hostile troops on the Mexican and Canadian border and a naval armada steaming in the Gulf of Mexico?
These are wake-up calls for President Putin assuming that he was asleep. Although Russia is no longer the Soviet Union one can be sure that the Russian leaders of today hold that no capitalist state can ever be trusted. Hence I am sure that he is not asleep.
The notion that Russia can secretly assemble enough armed forces in the enclave of Kaliningrad to attack Poland is preposterous. This is not 1944 or 1945. Satellite reconnaissance will immediately betray such activity.
Feb 5, 2017 Trump’s New World Order
The new boss is starting to look a bit like the old bosses…

Trying to suggest that the Obama admin didn’t promote the Iran deal is ridiculous!
Infantry troops and tanks have no role in any battlefield today that would involve Russia. This move is nothing but political posturing, without any military application whatsoever, offensive or defensive.
It is about money. Trump want them to buy more of American weapons and pay for the military service provided. Trump talked openly about that. Just promoting the export of American goods.
yes, money and posturing, not just the US but all the NATO members. avarice, pride and envy, all the usual demonic spirits.
Each time we see or hear of escalations of this sort, are we expected to believe that Trump is on the outside and standing opposed to them? Really?
Raimondo must think so because he doesn’t waver from his support of Trump, and it’s now to the point at which Trump doesn’t even have his closest choices surrounding him on his side.
Although Raimondo seems unswayed, it’s worth mentioning that he has answered back at several posts that criticized his latest. I would suggest that he was unable to rest with what he said in his piece.
He will crack eventually and it’s pretty important to the survival of this site that it happens sooner, rather than later.
Are we now supposed to believe that Trump is singlehandedly trying to forwar an agenda of peace with Russia??? Who among those surrounding him have demonstrated they’re with him on that kind of agenda?
It’s likely that only some Americans are still falling for his ruse. No foreigners looking in could have stayed with Trump this far into it.
I’ve written an explanation of why it’s all happening on the “LIndsey Graham” thread so it can be debated there. No need to repeat it here.
I voted for Trump, primarily because he promised to improve relations with Russia, rather than follow the Globalist agenda of war with Russia and China, both of whom reject Globalist control. Trump needs to keep his campaign promise to prevent more wars and normalize relations with Russia. If he does not, we Americans who voted for him have been betrayed.
You’ve been betrayed but there’s not really that many of you who voted for him for that reason so it won’t make much of a ripple in your country.
Even if Trump wanted to improve relations with Russia, he wouldn’t be allowed to do so. He doesn’t want to.
Trump might very well have wanted better relations with Russia, but political zeitgeist would not allow any politician to make even a mild overture to Russia. Michael Flynn served as an example of the price one has to pay in making such an attempt.
Of course Russia has no intention of invading Poland, the Balkans, or any part of Europe. But be prepared for that false flag event that will be blamed on Russia so NATO (U.S,) can get WW III started. It’s been 100 years since we got dragged into WW I. The War Party can’t wait to get another world war going again.
The US endgame is not world war. It is establishing economic control to prevent the US (the West) from being eclipsed by the Brics.
How would the US react to the Russians doing that to us, say in Cuba. Oh, we saw that, bring of nuclear war.
