The Iranian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement today condemning the US for following up its Saturday removal of nuclear sanctions against Iran with the imposition of a new round of sanctions on Sunday, saying the move was “aggravating and propagandistic.”
There is considerable dispute over the US sanctions, which cite a UN resolution forbidding Iran from developing nuclear-capable ballistic missiles. It was been argued that this makes the sanctions nuclear-related, and a violation of the P5+1 nuclear deal, and Iran insists that the missile isn’t nuclear capable in the first place, meaning the resolution doesn’t apply.
The statement by Iran’s foreign ministry is that they consider the sanctions “illegitimate” at any rate, and that Iran intends to continue to develop its conventional missile systems to improve its overall defensive capabilities.
That the US waited less than 24 hours after ending sanctions to impose new ones is a big boost to Iran’s ultraconservative factions ahead of next month’s elections, as they declared them vindication to their opposition to the nuclear deal on the grounds the US couldn’t be trusted to keep up its end of the bargain.
They never did just want war.
I think Obama is tired of being called “weak,” so he just went along

Let me understand this? Iran cannot have a nuclear deterrant even though they are surrounded by countries with Nuclear weapons such as Israel, India and Pakistan. Also the US, Britan and France has ICBM’s that can reach anywhere and submarines off Irans shores with nuclear weapons.
And after all that, even though they are surrounded by overtly hostile neighbors specifically Israel, ISIS and Saudi Arabia they are also expected to NOT develop any kind of conventional deterrant??
They are expected to just sit there unprotected like sitting ducks.
Yet somehow they are the aggressors and they are the crazies?
As many countries watch and understand the US can ever be trusted in a deal!

In essence, Empire USA is admitting that it deceitfully tricked Iran into giving up all rights to improve it’s missile defense systems. So, if any nation doubted that we are an Empire not fit to exist, all doubt is gone and we are one step closer to a world united in our destruction. And with a greater conviction of conscience we must look forward to the day when every man, woman and child in our Empire is put to death by nuclear cremation.
Now can the United States stop vetoing UN Resolutions that “the world” wants regarding the Nuclear Goliath Israel, so that sanctions can be imposed against Israel under cover of a UN Resolution?
The USA is the most dangerous and untrustworthy nation on the planet, yet constantly interferes with others. Was it not GWBush that pulled the USA out of the vital anti-ballistic missile treaty? Does not the USA encourage the Israeli régime to pretend it has no nukes while constantly threatening its neighbours? Is not Israel, with help from the USA, the ONLY country in the region to stop enforcing a nuke-free zone for the safety of all?
This is shameful.
