In the coming days, the United States is expected to start launching airstrikes inside Syrian territory. The target will be ISIS, but the attacks will not only not be happening with Syrian government permission, they won’t involve any coordination.
That’s hugely problematic, as nations don’t normally just let unfriendly nations conduct random airstrikes, and Syria’s military would be expected, to the extent they’re able in the ISIS dominated east, to resist the invasion of attacking bombers.
If they do, however, the Obama Administration is said to be planning to attack the Syrian military as well, because even though the current ISIS war, according to President Obama, is expected to last not only through his last 3 years in office, but into the next president’s term “and probably the one after that,” he’s still fine expanding it.
Though the administration has often threatened to attack Syria on various pretexts, it’s hard to imagine that firing on US warplanes operating inside Syrian airspace without coordination as to their location would be considered a valid one by the international community at large. The administration, however, seems to be determined to expand the already regional war into whatever new directions strike their fancy, even in areas well beyond the conflict with ISIS itself.
USG needs to give written guarantee to the United Nation Security consul that it will not bomb Syrian forces while they attack ISIS barbarians. Can Barack Hussein Obama give such guarantee?
I believe this has been Obamas goal since he was thwarted by the public and Congress last summer in his effort to stage a massive bombing campaign on Assad. He finally has an opening and will quickly turn the bombing raids on ISIL to Assad.
What a crazy world we live in. US will bomb inside sovereign countries Iraq and Syria. USG says it does not need to coordinate strikes with Syrian government and does nor allow Iraqi government to call Iran for help against IS. NATO started according to Ukrainian government sending weaponry to Ukraine so Kiev has means for ethnic cleansing of Russian speaking Ukrainians. Will Putin follow the suit and openly send weapons to east Ukraine rebels? Will we end up in nuclear war between US and Russia? Is it not the highest time to take from Obama his premature Nobel Peace Prize?
The EMPIRE has bitten off way more than it can chew. "The Coalition of the Killing" might not be so gun ho after a few weeks of nemesis.
And that's pretty much what they're hoping for, isn't it. Attack anything that moves in Syria while claiming that it's IS. Because the US isn't exactly known for being accurate with their bombing. When the Syrians get tired of being allegedly accidentally killed and respond, the US will have its excuse to launch an official war against Syria and give the neocon necrophiliacs their regime change in Syria.
American administration is specialised to attack every country. They are proving themselves to be a nation of killers.
ROOT CAUSE
Terrorized into fearful submission was all of humanity that day in 1945 when our Empire nuke wasted over 220,000 innocent civilians in Japan, in two cities that had virtually no military. A deliberate act of global terrorism, knowing full well that it would give them the paralyzing emotional power to win all wars before a shot was fired.
Will Russian and Chinese naval ships and air power present themselves in a show of strength should the US make negative overtures towards the Assad regime just as the Ukraine ceasefire in jeopardy as NATO Ships Arms to the Ukraine? Then the EU can be pushed into applying even more sanctions on Russia. How far can this go before something gives, and not by way of Russia backing down?
Do I need to repeat my prediction that the entire purpose of this Syria crisis – which created ISIS – was to get the US and NATO to attack Syria, so Israel can attack Hizballah in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon through Syrian territory, so that both Syria and Hizballah's military capabilities are degraded enough to allow Israel to attack Iran?
That's been the goal since 2006 when Israel failed to destroy Hizballah in a frontal attack through southern Lebanon.
Under this scenario any of the rebel groups fighting the Assad regime could trigger a US attack against the Syrian military (or provide the cacus belli that USG seeks) by turning their manpads on US planes. The rebels are confirmed to be in possession of SA-7s, SA-16, and SA-24s.
