The incongruous stories surrounding the March 11 massacre on Afghan civilians in two villages took another turn today, with reports from witnesses in Mokhoyan, one of the two villages targeted, that they were threatened by US troops just days before the massacre.
The witnesses say that troops rounded up all the men from the villages after a roadside bombing, lined them up against a wall, and told them they would “pay a price” for the attack.
The witnesses put the date of the bombing at either March 7 or 8. Previous stories had massacre suspect Robert Bales supposedly “upset” about a bombing in which one of his friends lost a leg.
The military would neither confirm or deny any bombings in the area, only insisting that they would investigate anything that might be related to the shootings. They likewise gave no comments about the threats in Mokhoyan.
If confirmed, the threats would also appear to support the Afghan probe’s version of the massacre, which had an organized group of over a dozen US troops carrying out the massacre, as opposed to a lone man, as the US maintains.
Ruh Roh!! Looks like the sanitized "rogue" version ("official" US version) is beginning to come apart. You know, it just didn't make sense that a single soldier, fully armed, was going to just waltz out the front gate in a "hot zone" and have no one stop him – or even question him.
Why now after a week they come up with this information? The psychological operations should work from the first day on an event. It is a nice idea to justify a massacre, but it came too late.
The information has been there all along, on foreign news, just not reported in the US much.
No one has mentioned what happened to the rest of the soldiers in his unit. Are they still at the base, or have they been moved somewhere 'safer' and 'quieter.'
The "lone gunman" excuse has been bogus from the start~~a black-out level drunk, slips past guards at a heavily secured FOB and walks 12 miles to massacre sixteen people without hindrance, sets fire to their bodies, and then WALKS back to base unimpeded!!???
This false narrative defies credulity, and should be shouted down from every quarter……
No need to reinvent the wheel here. Mike Rivero already put it succinctly:
This was a deliberate, coordinated hit, right out of the Nazi playbook, meting out collective punishment.
Thankfully, the US military couldn't quite get away with it this time.
Unfortunately, the "lone nut assassin" has been part of American political folklore for landscape for a very long time, and generally proves to be absolutely false, once the facts are known.

This pattern has been played out so many times over the last decade that by now surely no one can be shocked.
1) Reports of innocent civilians dying at the hands of the US military. Sometimes by bombs, or missiles, or by drones. Other times by machine gun.
2) US military denies it ever happened and says they aren't to blame. If pictures of bodies are already in the worldwide media, then US military will skip the denial part but will claim instead that they were all terrorists who deserved to die a bloody and horrible death.
3) Real reporters from other countries actually go to the scene and try to investigate. They uncover facts there that show that the US military is completely lying.
4) US Military then says it is investigating. This is code for not answering any questions as from this point any question will be non-answered by saying an investigation is underway.
5) The US military investigation of itself will find that the US military is composed of angels and geniuses and that they did nothing wrong.
6) If that doesn't work, they'll put some enlisted man on trial. Never, ever an officer. The trial will take forever in the hopes that everyone will have forgotten the horror of the original crime by the time the enlisted man takes 30 lashes with wet noodle and is then tied to the comfy chair for an afternoon. Really extreme cases of war crimes, rape, murder and brutality might get a 6 month prison sentence in a US mitlary jail where the symbolic enlisted man is treated as a hero.
That's what pissed off Bush so much! Those wise guys from Al Jazeera not being on message. They had their offices in Iraq and Afghanistan bombed and Tony Blair actually had to talk Bush out of also bombing their home office in Qattar. The man who released that info in Britian was prosecuted under the Official Secrets Act.
I suspected this – it was a 'vendetta' killing after all. Just SOP (standard operating procedure) in Vietnam and I suspect the same in Afghanistan. Despite what we see in the movies, the Nazis weren't the only nazis. Anyone in military uniform potentially.
the question is how many more peoples will die because American's war, how many more country will be invaded by America
