Show me someone arrested by the FBI over a terror plot and I’ll show you a fake terror plot created wholecloth by the FBI.
This has been the recurring theme in high profile “terror arrests” for the FBI, in which a fake terrorist is provided with fake explosives and then arrested for fake blowing something up. But arrests where the “target, motive, ideology and the plot” are all a creation of the FBI are facing growing scrutiny, as well as claims of entrapment.
Will you guys, they have to keep working too.
It's either that or the unemployment line.
Look at the positive side: This is all about job creativity, and when has becoming creative ever been consdered bad?
Law enforcement, including the FBI, have been framing people for crimes since forever. In this way, they get to solve a crime and solving crimes is what law enforcement is all about. Solving a crime has always been good for merits by law enforcement. Those were for actual crimes committed, committed by someone, somewhere.
Today the FBI has become very creative, God bless them, now they actually invent the crime, coerce someone to get involved, and then arrest that person for planning to commit the crime. They don´t even have to commit the invented crime.
I always tell my students to try to find new ways to become creative in their jobs, because it makes working all that more fun and fulfilling, aside from the fact that it most probably improves productivity of the organization they work for. Now I have a real-time example to refer to.
This could be funny if it weren't for all the tragic involved; lives wasted and lots of suffering.
FBI agent – so you hate america?
Mark – uhhh ya i guess
FBI agent – and you want wage jihad?
Mark – uuumm ok
FBI – and your willing to die fighting?
Mark – …..
FBI agent – and you swear allegiance to bid laden?
Mark – … sure
FBI agent – ok here is a bomb
Mark – ya about that… what happened to all that money you promised me up front?
FBI – YOU ARE UNDER ARREST!
It's great that now the shame of it all has gone international with the great piece in the Guardian. They pointed out the obvious: that it is really shocking that no Federal judge has challenged the FBI sting and entrapment techniques. In the Miami case the prosecution had to try them three times to find a jury that would convict. The first two juries were hung. At least some jurors will object to the BS, but too often, they vote to convict. We should be wary that while the FED's are straining themselves with these fake terrorist plots, that the real terrorists are quietly going about their business.
