At Least 41 Killed as US Drones Attack Tribal Jirga in North Waziristan
Attack Killed Members of Pro-Govt Militia, Random Civilians
The latest US drone strike against North Waziristan Agency, Pakistan is amongst the deadliest in recent memory, with at least 41 people killed and other, unconfirmed sources speculating the toll may be upwards of 80.
Making matters worse, this strike isn’t coming with the usual pretense of everyone slain being a “suspected militant.” Rather, the attack struck a tribal jirga (official meeting) for the Madda Khel tribe, in the town of Datta Khel.
The casualties from the attack included six tribal elders who were overseeing the jirga, which was apparently to discuss the ownership of mineral rights, a number of children who were brought by their families to the gathering, and several members of a pro-government militia the tribe helped organize.
The US has been striking houses and vehicles in Datta Khel and elsewhere in North Waziristan for years, and such a large gathering must have seemed an appealing target. The fact that the gathering had nothing to do with militants, however, points again to just how little information they have about their targets before launching missiles at them.

When will justice prevail and these murdering swine (the Drone Operators ) be brought to Justice?
Obama , Clinton, Gates and Petreaus should ALL be tried in the International Court and executed for crimes against humanity
If any sort of Justice and Honestty exists in this World they will all be found guilty.
How do these people sleep at night? With hunreds of thousands of victims of their excesses crying out for justice?

Funny how there is no mention of this on BBC news…… and after the Raymond Davis fiasco, can a Pakistani's life get any cheaper?

Drones are a massive threat to everyone on earth. It will come a time when the technology is easily available to all.
Outlaw them completely now and there won't be problems later. Anyone who uses them is a coward whilst the manufacturers want to see as many wars as possible in order to sell more.

Wow. The obscenity just never stops. 9 kids mowed down last week on a hilltop collecting firewood in Afghanistan- no shots fired at the helicopter that did it- and they blew them away- each child- aged 7 to 13- one by one. Can imagine the horror? Waiting your turn to get blown to bits as you try to run? One kid survived- hid behind a rock- saw all his friends murdered- one by one. Again- unarmed- kids- no shots- Americans just murdered them. Unreal. We are monsters.

This sounds like a 'mistake'. That is, the operative who told the CIA agent about the meeting was lying and he has personal reasons for attacking these people who are not 'Taliban' at all. The US was played as a chump.
A stupid, vicious, blind chump. Assassination is evil. We have to stop these.

What monsters we have allowed to take over our governance….. And these are citizens of Pakistan…?? Is this how the U.S. keeps the terrorism going, by slaughtering innocents??? I feel sorry for them… I have a terrible feeling about this strike after Raymond Daves got to slither away.. Those poor sad citizens….. Their OWN government sells their souls to the evil empire….. and pardons those cruisaders who murder and execute them…… Where is their judiciary of which they always seemed so proud..?? When will the politicians of Pakistan protect their OWN citizens…??? When will Zadari STOP taking money from the U.S. so they can murder Pakistan's citizens…????

This is mass murder, a war crime, and a crime against humanity. The CIA is out of control and/or Obama is out of his league, a weak president and a weak moral character to boot who allows this kind of transgression to go on without so much as a whimper of protest. It is time for impeachment.

If it were about death to the terrorists, the fire would be going upward. And if you weren't so stupid, you'd realize that for every one of those innocents your mercenaries slaughter, another 10 rise to avenge their deaths. Way to make enemies faster than you kill them. But, hey, it's YOUR war. Enjoy it!

Sorry to say, they weren't any kinder during Viet Nam. Or Korea. Or the Civil War. Or the colonization of Amerika. One thing about Amerikans is they have always relish the killing of innocents. It's not just now. It's in their DNA.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Feith, Bolton, Obama, Clinton, the Generals – ALL are war criminals for what the US has done to Iraq and to Afghanistan.
And now we will murder even more people in Libya.
When does the world rise up against America? – oops – as per Zionist William Kristol, "we arethe new Rome and more powerful than the old Rome".
When will the American people rise up against the criminal regime in Washington, DC – oops – the American people are cowardly sheep.
Perhaps Jefferson was correct when he stated that: 'he feared God's justice upon America' – perhaps it is coming?

It's common knowledge that the US tests all its new weapons in foreign lands which can be traced back to the nuclear attacks in Japan. Vietnam, Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan have all been used as testing grounds for US armaments. US drones started littering the skies over the tribal areas of Pakistan some years back and they have now made this area their backyard. Nearly every other day we get to read about a drone attack being carried out and the numbers of casualties are duly reported. The media gives a standard report about the attack and about some leader protesting the attacks. The opposition parties of Pakistan take it as an opportunity to vilify the government and condemn the attacks. But none of this has any effect on the US government and their drones continue to occupy the air space.
