WikiLeaks Poised for Major Israel Document Dump
Info on Killings, 2006 War Near Release
The paucity of information on Israel in the early WikiLeaks releases led to a flurry of speculations and conspiracy theories, insisting WikiLeaks may have made a secret deal with the Netanyahu government or that the lack of data proved the organization’s insincerity as a whistleblower. After all, in a dump of 250,000+ classified documents from the US, surely Israel would figure pretty prominently.
And actually it does. Though the information has not been released there will be a considerable dump, according to reports, including some 3,700 documents detailing Israel’s assassination plot in Dubai, the 2007 air strike against Syria, and the 2006 invasion of southern Lebanon.
Truly, the Israeli government is no stranger to unseemly covert actions, and the bulk of such actions are assumed to be taken under American imprimatur. Given this, it seems that the secret data should contain more than a few juicy tidbits.
Which might lead one to wonder why we haven’t seen it before. After all, despite WikiLeaks’ extremely slow release schedule they did give the full collection to a number of Western publications. According to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, this is because the newspapers simply weren’t interested in publishing data embarrassing to Israel. Which is forcing us to wait on this topic, while the press oohs and aahs at the revelations of Anna Nicole Smith’s impact on the Bahaman government.

Your article states "Truly, the Israeli government is no stranger to unseemly covert actions, and the bulk of such actions are assumed to be taken under American imprimatur". Why not call a spade a spade – Israel participates in Government sponsored murder, and the US supports and finances such murder vis-a-vis their proclamation that they represent TRUTH JUSTICE AND THE AMERICAN WAY?
They not only have a sham democracy but are corrupt to the core and history will judge them as did other corrupt systems which went before them.

And the "western publications" wouldn't say boo about Israel. Yeah, that figures.

I tried telling my readers this obvious fact (that the cables were all written by Zionists working for the State Department and the media will cover up or not talk about the ones embarrassing to Israel) and yet few people can understand this obvious fact.
I would suggest that skeptics can't free themselves of propaganda anymore than anyone else. That is, in the alternate universe where we struggle to get around US propaganda, there is another propaganda system run by web outfits that turns out tons of junk that makes no sense or flies in the face of obvious facts!
How on earth can we escape this insanity? I wonder sometimes.

Steve said, "They not only have a sham democracy but are corrupt to the core and history will judge them as did other corrupt systems which went before them", and that is completely true. But, ain't that what we got? Maybe they just learned from us.
Can you sing along with me, the satirical version, "And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free…"

There are numerous reports the cables have been edited including the intelligence agents, who wrote some of these cables and claim what Wikileaks released differs from the cables they themselves wrote.
See: http://antimatrix.org/Convert/Wikileaks_Affair.ht…
Secondly, if they only release the information related to few chosen accidents and not ALL the cables related to Israel, then it is not clear who stands behind it all.

I would like to see the inside memos and what they said about the Israeli art students and their actions on 9-11. Should the public find out that Israeli spies cheered as Americans jumped to their deaths from the twin towers, that would be further evidence that our BFF in the middle east is not Israel.

And the MSM wonders why readers throughout the world no longer look upon them as credible sources of information and analysis. Denial isn't limited to just individuals.

The reason that documents on Israel weren't been published is very simple, the same media that published the leaks refused to publish documents on Israel. I guess that most of you can't read Hebrew, well, the current news is probably from Haaretz English version which is a translation of the Hebrew source – http://www.haaretz.co.il/hasite/spages/1205588.ht… , which says two important things: 1. Assange said that newspapers that published the leaks refused to publish the documents on Israel. 2. The NYTimes couldn't publish the documents on Israel because of the sensitivity to the Jewish community.
Another interesting point – Haaretz English translation omitted the above important information. It is not the first time that I catch the Haaretz English version in political correctness.

Jason is raising an extremely important point. I have often wondered why so far no information had come to light on the very tight US – Israeli almost symbiotic relationship. I am sure this would be the most dramatic and embarasing information, because under the protective 'umbrella' of the US Israel has been able to play out is global criminal 'cloak and dagger' policy and got away with flouting international laws and UN resolutions for the past six decades. Also its tight grip on American foreign policy through the Jewish 'porkbarrel' domination of American politics and Congress. One can only speculate why this information has as yet not been released. As others have already mentioned may be the threat of assassination by Mossad/CIA agents. Also western news media are mostly Zionist dominated (New Zealand news media for sure would be extremely reluctant to publish any information detrimental to Israel). I believe that Iceland is working on a law which gives whistle-blowers such as Assange and other independen operating investigate journalist protection and a safe haven. The sooner the better.

The simple fact is Israel is beyond shame. They have a deep control of our elected officials with a very high number who are questionable if their first loyalty is to the USA of Israel. I doubt that they really care what the leaks say because it will not change the control of money which they have gained total control. The only problem is if the USA does not buy the great lie of wallstreet the money for Israel could be in short supply and it will be difficult to keep 400,000 illegal settlers employer

Once upon a time, the Great Empire used to have laws that protected whistleblowers. Since 2000, those same laws have been used to smoke any potential whistleblowers out of the shadows and prosecute them. One best be careful what to wish for these days.

Any chance that you could report that link to the English Ha'aretz?
