Speculation is flying fast and furious over the details of the upcoming WikiLeaks release, fueled in no small part by US official warnings to a number of its allies about how hugely damaging the release could be.
The documents are said to be potentially damning to a large number of foreign governments, but perhaps the most damaging content could be related to the US military, which according to media reports will be shown to have secretly backed the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in its ongoing civil war against Turkey.
The PKK has been officially listed as a foreign terrorist organization by the US State Department since 1979, which would be reason enough that the Defense Department cannot legally back them. It is doubly problematic in this case, however, as the PKK has been fighting Turkey, a NATO member and close military ally of the US.
The Pentagon is said to have praised the PKK as “warriors for freedom” in official documents and has ordered detained PKK captured inside Iraq released. They are also said to have provided the organization with weapons.
Drip…drip…drip…drip…drip…!!!
this is gona be great! to bad no one in this country will care.
in any other place in any other time the people would already be preparing the gallows
Instead of gallows there will be promotions for the self promoted "hero warriors"of the Pentagram.
But understand that policy? Perhaps to spread fear to keep in Turkey inside NATO, and being FORCED by fear into supporting the US, and aiding the spin on the brilliance of supreme military power anywhere and everywhere.
So it is no less the "Nation building" of the US itself that are seen by these dark figures to be at stake. A pursuit one does NOT dare to involve the population into openly!
Heh! Did you see the sci-fi movie of the 50'es: "Forbidden Planet" Seems ominously right in the revulsed and contradictory "idealism". Boy! Did you ever DESERVE the economic downturn in the wake of insane waste on self-contradictionary policies, that has hitten the USA.
Wake up! Become more of humans! Drop Fear! Demand and get ACCOUNTABILITY from everybody, no matter what FEARS or CONCERNS are crawling out from the scums you yourself nurture and that are your only "rewards"

Can I get a yee-haw?
This is going to be huge ..!! Not a good news for ISRAEL !! Yes Israel … Anti-war readers wont find it hard to understand.
With AKP in power … expect some big things happening.
Do I see the hand of the IDF behind this. The sooner the Pentagon and the US Army break all ties with that bunch of war criminals the better.
WOW Turkey is a member of the United Nations and NATO. If the USA was providing support to the PKK then it is pretty clear that the USA has lost all its ability to be an honest broker in the middle east.
It is difficult to understand why we would do these things and to get caught at it is very upsetting. I can understand why Bush has been hiding since he left office.
Anything that diminishes the influence of the American Empire is good news for our under-developing country.
The Turks undoubtedly were already very much aware of the FedGov's duplicity. How could they not be?! It explains much of recent Turkish policy. Ankara will undoubtedly downplay the whole thing officially to keep the NATO thingy in play against Washington, but redouble its efforts to undermine the FedGov on the ground, where it matters. I'd have a big laugh if the Turks bait the Zionists with another aid flotilla to Gaza – convoyed by the Turkish Navy – and this time slaughter the boarding parties and shoot down their helicopters.
The Turks denied the US permission toi invade Iraq from the north. They are not an ally. So they deserve to be undermined. We should back the PKK to the hilt, so they can hit the Turks where it counts – in the soft underbelly.
Turkey as a sovereign country has to find out who´s friend or foe… I wonder if the US helped the IRA or the Bask movement in Spain would they be able to stay friends or would they be condemned by the people of Europe?? Everybody accepts the fact, that PKK is a terror-network ( not such thing as freedom fighters as described by US diplomates …!) but because it´s Turkey nobody cares.. this shows that " a man gotta do what a man gotta do"… Turkey must take care of itself just like Atatürk did by playing a war-game against so many intruders who are now acting like friends… I hope, that people one day will accept the fact, that Turkey is a demokratic country and a rolemodel for many especially muslim countries…
PKK ARE NOT A TERRORIST THEY ARE FREEDOM FIGHTER ..METINK GO TO HELL WITH YOUR PROD TURKY HHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE US
