US Helicopters Attack Pakistan, Killing More Than 60
NATO Confirms Apache Helicopters Launched Attacks Against Pakistani Territory
NATO spokesmen are confirming tonight that a pair of US Apache helicopters crossed the border from Afghanistan into Pakistan, launching an attack against tribesmen in Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) which killed over 60.
NATO says that the tribesmen they attacked were believed to be the same ones responsible for an attack against a NATO base in the Khost Province of Afghanistan. The Khost Province borders FATA’s North Waziristan Agency, a regular target for US drone strikes.
Though it is not the first time US forces have crossed the border and launched attacks into Pakistan, such attacks have been exceedingly rare (and followed by angry reactions from Pakistan’s military and civilian government). NATO has also repeatedly tried to distance itself from previous attacks, insisting there is no basis for crossing the border.
NATO depends on Pakistani territory as a supply route for its troops in land-locked Afghanistan, and following a pair of 2008 raids by US troops into Pakistan the nation’s government briefly blocked the supplies. With many, many more NATO troops in Afghanistan now than in 2008 the supply route is all the more vital, though simultaneously all the more fragile.

So the helicopter cowboys are at it again! Borders vanish when the 'good old boys' are flying, their hot fingers on the triggers.
They probably think of the time when their ancestor slaughtered the Red Indians, who also couldn't fight against rifles and machines guns and cannons.
The American dream: slaughtering those who can't fight back!

Does NATO really want to be doing incursions into NUCLEAR Pakistan..?? Just because the puppet Zadari lets them get away with actual MURDER, does not mean that such attacks could get a MILITARY response and, worse, escalation… NATO should not forget what happened to the Warsaw Pact!!! It along with the USSR fell victim to the the failure of their Afghan adventure… Now some of the potential parties to the conflict are nuclear bomb states, Hello NATO…!!!

Is Obama trying to start WWIII to boost the economy and rally support for his presidency? Nothing else about this makes any sense.

I don't suppose Obama has enough time to read about Nixon and his incursions into Cambodia. That one worked out just grand, don't you think?
We're led by idiots.

I support a Pakistan decision to disallow the movement of US supplies through their country into Afghanistan. When sovereign states are attacked militarily by another country that has not declared war on that country, the act is illegal under international law. Where is the United Nations when it is needed to temper the radical actions of a super power?

We are paying for american support and friendship which every american friendship state had to pay. I think americans have lossed totally wisdom and real shape has come out to be killers. The best example is Saddam a friend and collaborater had to pay with attack on Irak and his death.
America is becoming slowly a terrorist state and americans are helping fundamentalists to rise in every corner of the world specially in Pakistan but they are proud to kill civilians.

We are use to for the american killings and they want to prove the world that they are a terrorist state.
These acts of frustration how long the americans will tolerate. The problem is rulers are like the public and I think americans are very proud to kil innocent people in the name of terrorism.
America is producing hatred arounf the world. They have lossed their export, social services, no one wants to go Us for study, no business and economy is totally destroyed but still they don,t learn.

I think this is not enough americans should carry out such attacks even on prime minister and president house.
If a nation has such leaders had no right to exist and americans I don,t blame as the world knows how cruel and killers they are? This is their way of life kill, kill and kill civilians.

This is very much like Israel in Gaza and the West Bank. Someone stepped out of line so the whole tribe is punished with death.
