Clinton Threatens China With Isolation Over Iran Sanctions
China's Latest Call for Talks Enrages US
Chinese officials again stressed their support for additional talks with Iran and objection to sanctions, sparking a surprising condemnation from US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
In a long diatribe against both Iran and China, Clinton declared that it was time to “move away from the engagement track” and apply more sanctions against Iran. She warned that China would face diplomatic isolation and disruptions to its energy supply.
Clinton made the threats at a speech at the French war college, following a meeting in which US and French officials drafted a new round of sanctions they hoped to push through the UN Security Council.
China’s reported plans to veto additional sanctions against Iran may irk the US, but as permanent members of the security council there is little the US can ultimately do about them. Secretary Clinton’s comments may in fact push China even further into opposition of the sanctions, as any support they gave it now would be seen as capitulation to US demands.

Has the Hildabeast lost her fricking head?! Does she not realize that the Chinese are our bankers? Does she not realize that the Chinese can destroy what is left of American prosperity by dumping thier dollar denominated assets on the market, and putting a wooden stake through the dollar which is already on life support. Someone needs to put a muzzle on that @!$%, before she does any more damage to the interests of the American people.

Someone tell Hillary that the U.S. interests are better served cultivating warm relations with our friend of endless treasure to loan. Why make enmity with such a generous friend and threaten her to advance a policy to largely benefit America's No.1 WELFARE QUEEN… the one that takes & takes our money, resources and young people in the neocon craze to rule the world. It seems inconceivable that the "O" administration would engage in any policy which could offend China as the U.S. sinks in debt. There is also a seemingly willful blindness to what effect that treating China badly to benefit Israel is likely to reap in the future, especially for Israel. What would China's extreme displeasure manifest on the ground in Afghanistan..?? Pakistan..?? Doesn't the U.S. have enough problems these days in China's neighborhood, without begging China to create a few more or make the current ones worsen!!

America is in decline, but there's still plenty of milk to get from the old cow. No need to be impulsive and slaughter the beast prematurely. She's headed for the slaughter house all on her own. Well, no. The special regime for Iraq started with the decision to not march to Baghdad during Gulf War 1 under Bush senior, then continued for two terms of Clinton. Secretaries of State (the front line of the highway pile-up, as it were) at that time were: Warren Christopher (can't remember much of him) and Madeleine Albright (fearfully interventionist). Hillary was not involved except as First Lady.

Irrational and illogical. Hillary wants China to support sanctions that would cut their energy supply. Why would China do that? Because Hillary snarled? Unreal, but the US has burned the books and libraries on the art of diplomacy. Hubris now passes for thought and the results are obvious.

They are all crazy, China holds our economy and will dump our dollar. Then see how much a gallon of gas will cost. China will also go to war over Taiwan another issue that this administration is violating 1982 treaties over arming Taiwan with. Wow now its time to screw with China.. What idiots! Better make sure that old cow has milk to give and those chickens eggs to eat cuz boy we are really screwed here. Wow, she is a poster child for overblown hubris. She attempts to threaten China? What doe sshe think is going to happen if China decides to destroy the value of the American dollar? It can you know? Did she forget that little fact? Does she forget a lot of little facts that she doesn't like to think about? Where does she get off telling China what to do? America has been telling everyone in the world what to do for ,many years now but countries like China and Russia are telling the US to mind its own damn business. Soon smaller countries will be emboldened to do the same.
