Israeli attacks in Gaza on Tuesday killed at least one Palestinian and wounded 15 others, the Palestinian news agency WAFA has reported, as the IDF continues its constant violations of the US-backed ceasefire deal.
Sources at the al-Awda Hospital told WAFA that the body of one slain Palestinian and 11 injured people were brought to the facility following an Israeli strike that hit a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza. Some of the injured Palestinians are in critical condition.
The Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, reported receiving two injured Palestinians after an Israeli drone targeted a house in the area. In Gaza City, two wounded Palestinians were brought to the al-Shifa Hospital following an Israeli strike on a rooftop of a house in the northwest of the city.
Gaza’s Health Ministry didn’t release a daily update on Tuesday, but sources told WAFA that since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025, Israeli forces have killed at least 1,355 Palestinians and injured 4,516, nearly 5,000 total Palestinian casualties.
The Israeli attacks have continued despite Hamas agreeing to a US proposal that would see the group give up its weapons, a potential deal that Israel has rejected. President Trump has publicly called for Israel to halt its strikes, but an August 17 meeting between his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ended with an agreement that Israel would continue bombing Gaza.
