Israeli attacks in Gaza on Monday have killed at least five Palestinians, according to reports from the Strip, as the IDF continues its constant violations of the October 2025 ceasefire deal.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that at least two Palestinians were killed and several were injured when an Israeli aircraft bombed a group of people near a municipal park in western Gaza City.
Later in the day, WAFA reported another Israeli strike in Gaza City that targeted a vehicle in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood. At least three people were killed, and photos of the aftermath of the attack show a burning car. Five Palestinian fishermen were also wounded by Israeli naval fire off the coast of Gaza.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said in its daily update, released about midday Gaza time, that at least two Palestinians were killed and 10 were wounded over the previous 24-hour period. An Israeli strike in central Gaza on Sunday killed a three-year-old boy.
The Health Ministry said that since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,320 Palestinians and wounded 4,385. The attacks have continued despite the US and the so-called “Board of Peace” announcing that Hamas had agreed to a deal that would see the group give up its weapons, a proposal Israel has rejected.
Israeli media reported that a meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, that took place on August 17 ended with an agreement that Israel would continue bombing Gaza.
