Israeli Strike in Gaza Kills Two Brothers as IDF Continues Its Constant Ceasefire Violations

At least 766 Palestinians have been killed since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed

Israeli attacks in Gaza on Thursday have killed at least two Palestinians and injured several others, the Palestinian news agency WAFA has reported, as constant Israeli violations of the US-backed ceasefire deal continue.

WAFA reported that two brothers, Abdel Malek and Abdel Sattar Al-Attar, were killed when an Israeli drone struck the vicinity of a school in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.

The Israeli military claimed that it killed two “terrorists” who crossed the so-called yellow line, which separates the Israeli-occupied side of Gaza from the rest of the Strip, but offered no evidence for its claim. The IDF also did not allege that the two people it killed were armed.

WAFA also reported that in central Gaza, Israeli gunfire wounded at least four Palestinians, including a woman. The report said that the gunfire came from Israeli military vehicles stationed east of al-Maghazi refugee camp.

Another Palestinian succumbed to his wounds sustained in an earlier Israeli attack on a vehicle in Gaza City. The body of a Palestinian killed two years ago near Khan Younis was also recovered.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said in its daily update on Thursday, which it releases about midday Gaza time, that since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed, Israeli attacks have killed 766 Palestinians and wounded 2,147.

Palestinians are also facing food shortages as Israel never lived up to its commitments regarding the number of aid trucks that were supposed to enter Gaza under the ceasefire deal, and it also imposed more restrictions following the start of the US-Israeli war against Iran.
