At Least Five Palestinians Killed by Israeli Attacks in Gaza

The IDF has killed more than 700 Palestinians in Gaza since the 'ceasefire' deal was signed

Israeli attacks killed at least five Palestinians in Gaza on Monday, according to reports from the Strip, as the IDF continues launching strikes across the Palestinian territory despite the US-backed ceasefire deal signed in October 2025.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, three Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a gathering of people near a mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City. Several others were wounded by the attack, including some who were in severe condition.

Later in the day, an Israeli strike hit near the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. WAFA reported that the attack killed at least two Palestinians and wounded six others.

The attacks on Monday came after a weekend of heavy Israeli attacks when at least 10 people were killed by the IDF in a 24-hour period from Saturday to Sunday, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.

The ministry said in its daily update on Monday, which it releases about midday, Gaza time, that since the so-called ceasefire went into effect in early October, IDF attacks have killed at least 704 Palestinians. The toll didn’t account for the five deaths on Monday, which would bring it to 709.
