A high-level Israeli delegation is visiting Washington next week, and according to a report from Axios, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the group to stress their objection to a US return to the Iran nuclear deal.
The Israeli officials visiting Washington include National Security Advisor Meir Ben-Shabbat, Military Intelligence chief Tamir Hayman, Israeli Defense Forces Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi, and Yossi Cohan, who heads Israel’s Mossad spy agency.
Israeli sources told Axios that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Benny Gantz met with the delegation to discuss what message to bring to Washington. The officials left the meeting agreeing that the delegation will stress to the Biden administration that a US return to the JCPOA would “put Israel in danger.”
Israeli officials often claim the JCPOA is a danger to Israel because it has an expiration date. But that ignores that after the JCPOA, Iran would still be bound by the Non-Proliferation Treaty, which Israel refuses to sign due to its secret nuclear weapons program.
The Israeli delegation will visit as indirect talks between the US and Iran in Vienna appear to be making progress. The US is complicating the process since it refuses to lift all Trump-era sanctions. A State Department official told reporters on Wednesday that the US and Iran are currently working out what sanctions the Biden administration is willing to lift.

At a minimum, they will shake down the US for money and free weapons
When Obama first made the JCPOA, it included freebies to Israel which persisted even after the USA pulled out.
Israel wants a return on the money put into the pockets of our Congressmen. Of course, the money was given to Israel by various “aid” programs, some of which comes back to the election campaigns of the Congressmen who passed the foreign “AID” packages. Just a revolving door regarding the slush funds.

Nobody is traveling from Saudi Arab to DC . When Saudis are traveling,they are meeting with Iranians to patch up and start new directions . Neither their so called lobby nor their embassy is busy with challenging and advising Biden against the the diplomacy or agin t returning to negotiations.
It has always been like that at least until 2007 ,when Saudi came under pressure to fall in line and support the anti Iranian stance.
The idea of Iran going back to normal is unacceptable. It’s like sunlight to a vampire. Rest assured, they will sabotage by starting something either in Syria, Iraq or even in Iran.
