Israeli Strike Kills Three Palestinians in Gaza City

According to Gaza's Health Ministry, at least 641 Palestinians have been killed by the IDF in Gaza since the 'ceasefire' deal was signed

An Israeli airstrike killed three Palestinians in Gaza City on Sunday, the head of the al-Shifa Hospital told Reuters, as Israeli attacks continue to hit the Strip amid the US-Israeli war against Iran.

According to medics, the Israeli attack struck western Gaza City near a crowded tent camp, killing three men, including a paramedic. Several other Palestinians were wounded by the strikes.

On Saturday, Al Jazeera reported that a father and his daughter were killed by an Israeli attack in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Later in the day, another Israeli strike hit Khan Younis, killing one person and injuring a young girl.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said on Sunday that since the US-backed ceasefire deal was signed in early October, Israeli forces have killed at least 641 Palestinians and wounded 1,711. “A number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them so far,” the ministry wrote on Telegram.

The Trump administration’s declaration of the “second phase” of the Gaza ceasefire deal and the formation of President Trump’s so-called “Board of Peace” have done nothing to stop the Israeli attacks in Gaza. Less than two weeks after holding his first “Board of Peace” meeting, Trump launched the war against Iran.

When the Iran war began, Israel shut down all border crossings into Gaza. As of Saturday, some limited humanitarian aid is being allowed to enter through the Kerem Shalom crossing in southern Gaza, but the closures are causing shortages of food and other goods, leading to price increases. Shutting the border crossings marks another violation of the ceasefire deal, which calls for unrestricted humanitarian aid deliveries.
