Israel Kills 11 in Gaza, Including Children and Journalists

Israel continues to violate the ceasefire brokered by President Donald Trump with daily strikes in Gaza

Israel killed 11 people, including three journalists and two children, in Gaza on Wednesday.

A fourth person was killed along with the three journalists by an Israeli strike near a displacement camp in central Gaza. The journalists were working with an Egyptian air group when their car was hit by an Israeli bomb.

Mohammed Mansour, as spokesman for the Egyptian Committee for Gaza Relief, told the AP that Anas Ghunaim, Abdul Ra’ouf Shaath, and Mohammad Qeshta were killed three miles from the Israeli-controlled areas of Gaza. The Israeli military claimed the journalists were attempting to conduct surveillance on its forces.

In a separate attack on a family home in central Gaza, three people were killed, including a child and his father. A second child was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers while collecting firewood near Khan Younis.

Israel has violated the truce with Hamas over 1,000 times, resulting in the killings of over 450 Palestinians. Despite the consistent violations of the ceasefire brokered by Donald Trump, the President has claimed that Israel is complying with the agreement.

Tel Aviv has failed to uphold other commitments it made in the hostage exchange and ceasefire agreement. Israel is restricting aid deliveries to Gaza and has refused to open the Strip’s border crossing with Egypt.
