Gaza’s Health Ministry said Tuesday that Israeli attacks killed 50 Palestinians and wounded 113 over the previous 24-hour period as US-backed strikes continue to pound the Strip amid a total Israeli blockade.
The Health Ministry said the body of one Palestinian killed by previous Israeli attacks was also recovered. The ministry’s numbers are based on dead and wounded Palestinians brought to hospitals and morgues.
“There are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them,” the ministry said.
Aid groups told Reuters on Tuesday that dozens of charity kitchens in Gaza are on the verge of closing due to the lack of supplies, as Israel has not allowed any food to enter the Strip since March 2.
The UN’s World Food Program said last week that it ran out of food supplies in Gaza and that the kitchens it supplied would be forced to close in a matter of days. WFP-run bakeries shut down a few weeks earlier due to the lack of flour and fuel.
Palestinians told Reuters that they had to wait in line for five hours to receive a single meal from a charity kitchen. Amjad Shawa, the director of the Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO) in Gaza, said about 70 to 80 kitchens remain open but will all close in the next four or five days if Israel doesn’t allow more supplies to enter.
Shawa said that before the total blockade on March 2, about 150 charity kitchens were operating. According to the Health Ministry, at least 60,000 children in Gaza are showing signs of malnutrition.
Starving Palestinians have also had no relief from the violence, as dozens of people, including many children, are being killed every day by relentless Israeli strikes. One attack on Tuesday hit a tent camp in the al-Mawasi area on the coast, killing at least five Palestinians, including two children.
The Health Ministry said that since Israel resumed its genocidal war on March 18, which it did with full US support, it has recorded the deaths of 2,273 Palestinians and 5,864 injuries.
Since October 7, 2023, the ministry’s death toll has reached 52,365, and the number of wounded has climbed to 117,905, figures that don’t account for thousands missing and presumed dead under the rubble or indirect deaths caused by the Israeli siege.
Would the ASI allow shipments of tulip-bulbs into Gaza ? I seem to recall the Dutch resorting to eating those as the Third Reich starved them out, too.
I think, the answer is 'NO'.
We need courage. We need courage in the West and Africa and Asia. Countries to start loading transports (planes, helicopters, landing ships) with food and medicine and airdropping or landing these supplies in Gaza, with no fear of IDF retaliation and WITH all retaliations published for the world to see.
The sailors and airmen of every country should be honor-bound, ready & eager to undertake such a risky mission for such desperately necessary humanitarian aid. Let the ASI shoot down unarmed transports and shell defenseless landing craft in order to maintain their starvation blockade, in front of the whole world and with their excuses met with insult and derision.
Let us keep trying to feed and help the Palestinians, at any cost to our vast wealth and privilege. If we don't save their humanity, we forgo our own.

In France, Poland, the Netherlands, and other places, ordinary citizens were willing to put their lives and the lives of their families in danger to save Jews.
80 vears later, European leaders and communities won't dare defy Jewish lobbies as they enforce cultural compliance with openly televised genocide, including starvation, massacres, and relentless barbaric destruction of everything and everyone.
80 years ago, people resisted, joined underground movements and became partisans, and were willing to put their lives on the line for humanity. Today, people can't even take a sharp rebuke or the fear of arrest, or a canceled contract. Reality is 'too much' for them, so they recede further and further into a make-believe world
The human spirit in the West has dwindled into a heap of basically nothing. Every child and idiot can be their dictator
And I promise you this: if Russia or China decided to genocide a people, or part of their population, there would be more resistance than there is in the West. It's Palestinian defiance. It's Palestinian resistance videos of attacks against Israeli soldiers. It's Videos of hostages condemning Netanyahu and pleading to be released by negotiations. It's Hamas saving captives from Israeli bombings. The latest one was of a soldier being administered an oxygen mask in a blown up tunnel gasping for air.
It's deep and personal for Israelis. Many of them despaired during and after the Shoah. Unfortunately they want the Palestinians to capitulate and do the same.
The trans-Atlantic democracies are governed by a criminal ruling elite which is in the process to destroy all of them. The insanity and lack of basic simple sense of decency, dignity, moral conscience is really mind boggling. They are choking on their money and have not a shred of empathy for the people they starve and kill in most brutal devilish, satanic suffering they make them endure.
