A correspondent for Yemen’s Al Masirah TV has reported that US airstrikes on the Yemeni capital of Sanaa struck three homes on Sunday night, killing at least eight people, including women and children.
Details of the US attack are still emerging, and other US strikes were reported in the northern Yemeni provinces of Saada and Amran. Early Monday, Al Masirah reported that US strikes on Saada hit a detention center for African migrants and said there were dozens of casualties.
Earlier on Sunday, Yemen’s SABA news agency reported that two people were killed by overnight US strikes on another home in Sanaa. At least nine Yemenis were wounded by the strikes, including two women and three children.

Also on Sunday, the Houthis, officially known as Ansar Allah, fired a missile at Israel, as the constant US bombing campaign has failed to deter the Yemeni group. The Israeli military said the “missile was intercepted prior to crossing into Israeli territory.”
US officials have confirmed that the Houthis have shot down seven US MQ-9 Reaper drones in recent weeks, which, according to a report from CNN, has hampered the US’s ability to target senior Houthi leadership as part of “phase two” of its bombing campaign.
US officials told CNN that despite the massive US airstrikes on Yemen, the Houthis are only getting better at targeting US MQ-9 drones, which are worth about $30 million a piece.
US Central Command said on Sunday that its forces have hit 800 targets in Yemen since March 15 and claimed the strikes have killed “hundreds of Houthi fighters.” The US bombing campaign has taken a huge toll on civilians, with at least 158 killed from March 15 to April 22, according to the Yemen Data Project.
The US military has shared virtually no details about its bombing campaign, which CENTCOM acknowledged, claiming that it has “intentionally limited disclosing details” of the airstrikes to “preserve operational security.”
The Houthis are known for their resilience, having survived a brutal US-backed Saudi/UAE-led war against them from 2015 to 2022, which killed hundreds of thousands of Yemenis. During that time, the Houthis became a more capable fighting force and increased their missile and drone capabilities to hit oil infrastructure deep inside Saudi Arabia.
The Houthis have maintained they won’t end attacks on Israel or their blockade on Israeli-linked shipping unless there’s a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to the Israeli blockade on the Palestinian territory. A senior member of Ansar Allah’s political bureau has said the Houthis would stop attacks on US warships if the US stopped bombing Yemen, but there’s no sign the US is considering the offer.
Trump will collapse the US economy and kill the dollar. This can't happen soon enough. We'll only be able to afford a DEFENSIVE military. Bring the troops home where they belong. Send mad King Donald off to his ultimate demise…

Amen…!
We can't borrow and print money forever. Hope Trump's plan works. No one else has come up with anything in a very long time. Are you rooting for him to fail?
Yes, indeed. I hope for him to fail and for the USA to become a real democracy that works for a living and pays its bills.
I am an old man and grew up below the poverty level, and all the people I grew up with who always did well, they did well under every administration. And the one's who always messed up and their children were messed up, that was also under every administration.
A big part of Trump’s plan is to continue borrowing and printing money, at even higher rates than previously.
Biden…It's not working…!
Trump… It's definitely & beautifully not working…!
Why do you root against the US? What Country do you call home?

Yes, when the US is gone the whole world will just turn to each other, embrace, and say I love you. —sarcasm intended
Not at all. Other evil empires will rise and fall as well.
More like to Preserve Operational Insecurity…!
They know how evil and criminal it is, intuition tells them to better not let the public know.
Dozens of African migrants killed in U.S. strike on Yemen. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c9qw274w72vo
Houthi-run media report 68 bodies have been recovered from a migrant detention center in Saada that was holding 115 African migrants when it was hit on Sunday night.
US Central Command announced that its forces had hit more than 800 targets since war criminal Trump ordered an intensification of the air campaign against the Houthis on 15 March.
Trump posted a video to his social media accounts bragging of a US strike on Yemen that was said to target Iran-backed Houthi rebels. But Houthis deny they were hit, and independent observers say it appears instead to be an attack on civilians.

Why would Africans migrate to the poorest Country unless they were from al Qaeda in Africa or some other terrorist group??? Please do not dodge the question.
http://UNHCR.org : Over 80 percent of the population live below the poverty line. 18.2 million people in Yemen are now in need of humanitarian assistance and protection services.–Mar 27, 2025
Yemen primarily receives humanitarian assistance from the United States, according to Amnesty International. Other major donors include the United Kingdom, the European Commission.
They weren’t migrating TO Yemen, they were migrating ACROSS Yemen to reach the Gulf petro-states for work.
They migrate to Yemen, in hope that they live long enough to got somewhere else.
The strike in Yemen’s Saada governorate, a stronghold for the Houthis, was the latest incident in the country’s decadelong war to kill African migrants from Ethiopia and other nations who risk crossing the nation for a chance to work in neighbouring Saudi Arabia.
Then you do not know nuch about migration. Yemen’s straits Bab Al-Mandeb is the shortest route from Africa to Arabian peninsula. They so not cross in order to stay in Yemen but to go to Saudi Arabia or furterr down to UAE, where plenty of menial jobs are. They probably already have friends or relatives that will shelter them and find jobs.
The same Straits have bern used for centuries as the route to transport captured people as slaves to various slave markets. This is the origin of its name which means the Gates of Sorrow.
As for farsical -Qaeda — how long are we going to believe in this fairy tale? The only “Al-Qaeda that ever existed was Saudi paid — US promoted outfit in Afghanistan. It means “a base’.
This was an operation to organize Afghan tribes by bribery and religion based ideology to kick “infidel” Siviet Union out of Afghanistan. Bin Laden was “volunteered” for the job by Saudis. We worked through Pakistan to get more Pashtun militants to augment Arabic speaking Bin Laden contingent.
This project was very successful in collecting unemployed youth in “schools”, or Madrasas. Basically they were trained as militants , armed snd sent to help Afgan tribes fight Soviets. Thus the name Taliban or “students”.
They were sucessful in organizing clans much more than Bin Laden (meaning son of Alladin).
None of them have anything to do with 9/11 but it was a convenient explanation for invading strategically located Afghanistan.
The brand name Al-Qaeda has been after repeatedly used as ncessary, every time we or Brits found it necessary to either demonize loical resistance or create a well controlled militancy in any area.
Illusion was crated that thise were some independent actors, but never explained who paid or armed them.
Good examples are “Al-Qaeda in Arabian Peninsula” , an outfit we gave this bureaucratic name and Saudis mostly funded it in order to squash independence movement in Hadramouth and elsewhere in South Yemen.
Conveniently later the project became managed by UAE. Now it is quite murky who controls island Sokotra.
Any group either namufactured by the usual suspects or home grown — usually had leader’s names mentioned — such as Al-Baghdadi , meaning “a man from Baghdad”.
Another fake “Al-Qaeda” was Syrian Nusra Front. It was a brand name to recruit gullable, adventure seaking youth from afar — from Xinjang accross Central Asia through Caucases.
The same recruitment network was used later to attract recruits to ISiS. Of course Alqaeda label was very inconvenient later — to have an Alqaeda ally, so it was quickly renamed to HTS to be normalazed as Idlib resistance — even though locals rebelled against HTS control of UN food distribution. And against arms shipments across Afrin from Kurds along the mostly porous Turkey Syria border.
Contrary to another convenient popular theory all recruits, weapons supply and oil trade from Syria was not done by “Turkey” but “accross” Turkey by Kurds in Turkey that earned from all these activities.
Including supply HTS via Kurdish Afrin in Syria. Turkey and HTS had many “disagreements”. HTS and Kurds smuggled refugees into Turkey. A key reason for Turkey taking Afrin and clearing part of border from another artificially engineered entity — ISIS. Its origin funding and management are easy to determine and it goes back to our ally Mohammed Bin Nayaf in his Ministry of Interior days.
Has anybody wondered how do these militant groups get their vehicles, fuel, food, weapons , ammunition, telephones, computers.
Asad’s militaryy stood down and HTS walked in . Which seems to have been coordinated with Turkey.
Despite US efforts to augment very weak HTS with Kurdish SDF, HTS security depends on Turkey and its over 100000 Syrian auxiliaries now renamed Syrian National Army (SNA).
HTS may have asserted its power in Damascus but it seems most of Assad army is blending into Turkish led SNA.
Also, Syrian government bureaucracy is still unchanged,.
HTS alpointed a few heads — like foreign affairs, finance, military. Every time various Western dignitaries arrive to visit HTS leader, bags of cash arrive giving him the power to bribe and buy loyalty. However, all of this is unstable including Kurdish generous ly giving up of the Tishreen Dam to HTS just to keep SNA at bay.
It will niot make a difference.
Al-Qaeda and ISIS fairy tales are over- used and spent brand names in Syria. Sure ISIS name is still used in vain every time Arab tribes seething under Kyrdish control strike back.
Then we help our friends striking the mysterious desert creature ISIS. Sure. What wlse is mainstream media good for.
Middle East tensions are increasing and Turkey is moving into Syrian former army and airforce bases with Israel complaining how this interferes with its operations.
HTS leader, having been politically rehabilitated is trying to please everyone. We will find out soon his capacity to survive.
No sooner has Israel voiced an alarm about Turkey’s presence in Syria, when an unexpected move by China suprised everyone at the speed by which it is pilferring our most valuable ally in the region — Egypt.
Fast moving military cooperation and what seems to be in works the purchases of fighter planes — to mention just the obvious. Russia is Egypt’s military supplier but US interests have limited its activities.
China’ may be not just supplier but a financier in chronically cash strapped Egypt.
Middle East is definitelly next hot spot. And the one where US for internal reasons will not be able to wash off hands easily.

Yemen’s Houthi rebels on Monday alleged a US air strike hit a prison holding African migrants, killing at least 68 people and wounding 47 others. The US military had no immediate comment.
The strike in Yemen’s Saada governorate, a stronghold for the Houthis, was the latest incident in the country’s decadelong war to kill African migrants from Ethiopia and other nations who risk crossing the nation for a chance to work in neighbouring Saudi Arabia.
They are the poorest of the poor and our criminal rulers need to kill them to serve their interests. Our trans-Atlantic ruling elite is real trash, nothing to be proud of, they are criminally insane people. Any humanitarian assistance, is propaganda. Our ruling class are real characterless sh*theads. Despicable people, look at Trump, a man with dignity he is not, to put it mildly.
