The US continued to pound Yemen with airstrikes on Wednesday night, with Al Mayadeen reporting 15 US airstrikes on the southern and northeastern outskirts of the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.
An Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that some of the strikes hit targets near the Sanaa International Airport. Earlier in the day, Yemen’s Al Masirah TV reported 17 US strikes in the northern Saada province and two in the Amran province.
On Wednesday morning, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree announced attacks on the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman. Saree said that the attack lasted for “several hours.”

Since the US restarted its bombing campaign in Yemen on March 15, the Houthis, officially known as Ansar Allah, have launched frequent attacks on the USS Harry Truman. US officials have downplayed the attacks, and the US military hasn’t been reporting each one.
So far, there have been no reports of casualties in the Wednesday US airstrikes around Sanaa, but the Trump administration’s bombing campaign has had a heavy toll on civilians. According to the Yemen Data Project, at least 25 civilians were killed in just the first week, and more than 55% of the strikes hit non-civilian targets.

Oh yes,
how silly of me

Evil demons with horns

when we do what we say they do
But its not the same

Peace begins with each of us…!
. . . and ends when someone drops a bomb on us.
In Yemen, the Trump gang-who-cannot-shoot straight did “celebrate“ an American airstrike that flattened a residential building, which likely killed many civilians, in that far away country.
What a bunch of immoral and depraved people! Unfortunately, it seems that's the kind of people the US government attracts these days. People who enjoy destroying instead of building.
Imagine what the American media would do if just ONE bomb detonated in and around DC! It would be a red letter headline 24/7! But it's OK for the USA and Israel to just drop massive bombs right into the middle of civilians? Bob Dylan once said, "you don't have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows". You don't have to be a rocket scientist or political scientist to know what GENOCIDE is, and the USA and Israel (and many other western nations) ARE guilty of it BIG TIME! USA "leaders" act like they have big gonads because they unleash the power of the US military on innocent defenseless civilians, but the truth is, they are COWARDS for letting Israel call the shots!
They are all cowards bombing civilians.
"Imagine what the American media would do if just ONE bomb detonated in and around DC!"
Further, I cannot imagine which country the Trump Administration would immediately pin the crime upon and collect cause for war. In fact I think the only delay would be due to infighting about WHICH hated enemy should take the blame.
"Let's say we found Palestinian passports in the wreckage and put boots on the ground in Gaza !"
– "No ! We'll claim that bystanders heard the bombers speaking Yemenese right before rolling a sandwich cart into them to try to stop the detonation !!"
— "Gentleman, please ! Iran takes priority, that's classic McCain Doctrine. We'll inform the UN Security Council of our right to flatten Tehran. Do we still have that vial of yellowcake uranium ? It'll add to our credibility."
Does the US have a goal with these strikes? Wars without s specific objectives just go on and on.
Goal: Collateral damage.
The bath tubs are being damage and leak,,, but US is still taking a bath…!
“If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?
During the life of any heart this line keeps changing place; sometimes it is squeezed one way by exuberant evil and sometimes it shifts to allow enough space for good to flourish. One and the same human being is, at various ages, under various circumstances, a totally different human being. At times he is close to being a devil, at times to sainthood. But his name doesn't change, and to that name we ascribe the whole lot, good and evil.

Bombing and killing without declaration of war. That's how we do it nowadays, with lots of posts on True social by the chief on how great and powerful and victorious we are and that the rest can get ready for hell to rain upon them if they do not obey the king of kings.
Destroying Sana’s cannot possibly achieve sny military results. Never, ever since the seventies was any mikitary related facikity in that historic city. If the idea was to destroy civilians, tbousands years old Zaidi culture and the city like nothing on this earth – they are doung a good job. They must know that very few streets are wide enough for even tiny cars. All Yemeni military is dispersed into its mountainous countryside, especially the fast rising mountauns above Red Sea. This was especially so since wars of secession started.
The story about Yemeni leader entering his girlfriend’s house sounds like a typical derogatory stories used by warring parties for thousands of years. Sounds so much like a story of a Norwegian ruler caught and killed in a pigsty or another Italian targetted while visiting bathroom.
It seems that this Yemeni leader made a very public appearance right after his presumed death.
Even targets around old town _ the sprawl of Sana’a — have no military value. Some new government biildings built in seventies and eighties, chiefly bureacracy. All military assets are along Red Sea or further South around contested areas resulting from civil war,.
In Trump’s words — what is the objective of these attacks? One thing it is not — removing danger to Red Sea traffic. Yemen is a tribal society, highly decentralized and the Western notion that decapitation means attacking its major city is not serious.
“what is the objective of these attacks?”
I’d say there are dual objectives. One is to keep up blood thirst among the public pursuant to the other, which is to justify continued purchases of expended ordnance, worn-out weapons, and new versions of obsolete weapons.
Yes, thank you. It all boils down to this essence. Having spent three years working in that old city, I just cannot help to wonder. What has that ancient far away place that attracts the wrath? Sitting upon highlands perched upon bare, forbidding mountais, what has it done to deserve such a fate. Those mountains look down on Bab Al-Mandeb straits. Once ulon a time a passage slaves made from Africa to the slave markets of Arabia.
