The US has offered Israel a “compensation package” if it avoids hitting certain targets in its planned attack on Iran, The Jerusalem Post reported Sunday, citing the Israeli TV channel Kan 11.
Amichai Stein, a correspondent for Kan 11, said the package would include military aid and a guarantee that the US would provide total diplomatic support.
“An American official said, ‘If you don’t hit targets A, B, C, we will provide you with diplomatic protection and an arms package,” Chair said. “Israeli officials responded saying, ‘We consider the United States and listen to them. But we will do anything and everything we can to protect the citizens and the security of the State of Israel.'”
The US is coordinating with Israel on its plans to respond to the Iranian missile barrage that hit Israel last week, which came in response to several Israeli escalations throughout the region, including the July 31 assassination of Hamas’s political chief, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran.
The US has said it will ensure Iran faces “severe consequences” but has warned against certain types of attacks, including attacks on Iran’s civilian nuclear facilities. President Biden said the US and Israel were discussing the idea of strikes on Iranian oil sites, but later said if he was in Israel’s shoes, he would be thinking about “other alternatives than striking oil fields.”
Other attacks Israel is considering include strikes on Iran’s air defense systems or more targeted assassinations inside Iran. The US is expected to support the attack in some way, whether by providing intelligence or more direct support and is vowing to defend Israel from any Iranian retaliation.
Any Israeli attack on Iran risks provoking a major war as Iran is vowing that Israel will face a harsher attack if it retaliates. On Friday, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Iran and its allies in the region won’t back down in the face of Israeli attacks.
“The resistance in the region will not back down even with the killing of its leaders,” Khamenei said. He called Iran’s missile attack on Israel “legal and legitimate” and said it was in response to “the heinous crimes committed by this bloodthirsty criminal entity.”
Kamala is full of "movement": https://x.com/charliekirk11/status/1843099051715334442?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet
Yep. She certainly is. Full of big movements.
Bowel movements.
And vowel movements!
What do I get for not committing war crimes?
You get to figure out how to nonviolently replace a totalitarian neoliberal dictatorship posing as the world's indispensable peacekeeping democracy.
What Iranian targets does 0bama want to protect. Does he have similar secrets in Iran to those he has in Ukraine?

Alastair Crooke
“An American official said, ‘If you don’t hit targets A, B, C, we will provide you with diplomatic protection and an arms package,” Chair said.
And if you do hit targets A, B, C we will provide you with diplomatic protection and an arms package, but we will say we are "frustrated" and might throw in a "livid".
Nailed it.
Exactly. This administration continues to dishonor America every single day. Our ruling Junta continues to spew its stain onto Old Glory with every passing day.
War crimes, ethnic cleansing, regime change, genocide, state sponsored terrorism, invasion and occupation,… These are US. Just put it on the card.
New tarot cards.
As if diplomatic support and arms aid were off the table all this time…!
The only thing these cretins are worried about is being embarrassed. To avoid this ultimate mark of political failure, they'll lie, cheat, steal, murder, finance war crimes, etc, etc, oh, and Bribe.
If I was Israel, I’d take the compensation and continue to hit A, B and C. And for a good measure sink one of the U.S. cruisers for daring to question the master.
Not gonna work because compensation would happen after the strike…!
And who's going to refuse to pay? Not this US government.
Does Israel even have the refueling capacity to meaningfuly hit Iran on their own..?
and if the US provides the arms, refueling, total support no-matter-what and specifies the targets, how is this not simply US aggression? Usually we are far more discreet with our proxies.
I guess it depends on the definition of “meaningfully.” They’ve got at least* ten large refueling aircraft (KC-130Hes and retrofitted 707s), and a small fleet of obsolete smaller aircraft like old F-4s that can fly out with squadrons, refuel one or two aircraft at range, and fly back.
* “At least” means that they ordered new K-46es a couple of years ago; I don’t think they’ve started receiving them yet, but I could be incorrect.
Oh YES, They make nice fat targets for air to air missiles!!! It would not surprise me 1 bit if the Russians took them out with hypersonics
Discrete? Thanks for the laugh. This bunch of misfits couldn't hide their arses in the dark.
Erdogan, the big talker, could cut off the oil and gas supply.
More bullshit cover stories. None of this is true.
"The 'compensation' will include full diplomatic support and new military aid" DUDE! Not even the horrible Mafia would ask someone else to pay for the bullets they used to kill children.
All the little boys and girls in Congress make sure they kiss Israel's ass, regardless of the death and damage that ensues! Shame on Americans for "electing" these "public servants" who mainly carry water for a foreign war criminal nation! The USA needs a sort of military tribunal to clean the scum out of the government before the world will ever take the USA seriously again!
Well, maybe this will rattle their cages. On Judging Freedom this morning. during the interview with Alastair Crooke, it was brought up that there was a tremendous seismic event last Saturday, in an area that rarely has seismic activity. According the Mr. Crooke, the information he had was that the seismic waves were not the usual waves expected from an earthquake. In other words, there is speculation that Iran has finally developed and tested a nuclear weapon.
I hope that has not happened. However, Iran is staring at the real possibility of a serious attack by Israel, backed up by the U.S., with speculation that Israel may use a tactical nuke of their own.
The other night, even when Israel and the U.S. were given warning of the ensuring attack, many weapons got through the Israeli defense system, hitting military targets, logistics targets, but not civilian sites, as Israel has done.
A bully can push another only so long before that other punches back. Netanyahu has put Israel into the abyss.
Yeah, replace the destroyed F-35 jets or its parts for free…!
“Alls we are saying! Is give Peace a chance!”
Striking oil fields would trigger a response in kind with ten-minute missiles, and most likely the closure of Strait of Hormuz…!
In addition high oil prices would be transferred to the US consumers at the fuel stations across the US affecting the general election…!
Allies oil fields could be hit. Iran could tow an old, large vessel into the Strait of Hormuz, then sink it, effectively blocked the Strait.
Iran demonstrated its ability to hit military targets (unlike Israel) in Israel, even when Israel and the U.S. got a heads up. It was a message.
The minute the U.S. joins in with Israel on the (coming) attack of Iran, every soldier in every base in the ME would become under intense attack.
Get your popcorn, extra butter. The show to end all shows will soon be coming to your tv. Beware that the MSM will lie, propagandize the affair.
You can't block the Straits by sinking a ship. Someone recently pointed that out over at MoA. The channels are two wide (several miles) – you'd need a lot of ships.
All Iran needs is the 2-6,000+ mines they have. The US Navy can't clear them effectively (last exercise only found 50% of the dummy test mines) and can't do it at all while under fire from shore-based anti-ship missiles and drones.
The shipping lane for large commercial ships and oil tankers is only 2 miles long
The point is that it's two miles wide. You'd need too many ships to block it.
Also, I suspect Iran does not want to block ships going to China. So it would be smarter to use mines that Iran can control remotely and use their anti-ship capability to specifically target ships like the Houthis are doing.
Again and again, more American tax money for Israel.
When was Israel voted the 51st state?
It receives more federal money than many American states.
Biden, Harris, Blinken and his assistants are traitors and they should be impeached.
“It receives more federal money than any American state.”
Not even close. The latest numbers I came across for state aid were from 2017, but in that year California alone received nearly 25 times as much federal money as Israel has this year. There were a few states that received less than Israel, but not many.
Israel’s population, as of July 1st 2024, was 9,387, 021, of which 21 percent are Arabs. (With the ongoing genocide of Palestinians by the Netanyahu government, the latter figure is surely declining.)
US states vary greatly in population, going from nearly 40 million in California to 586,485 in Wyoming.
Therefore, federal transfers to states have to be measured on a per capita basis, preferably in 2024, not in 2017. Since 2021, US money transfers to Israel have increased tremendously under Biden.
I answered the claim as it was actually made, not some other claim.
I’m not going to do the per capita research … but I suspect that on a per capita basis the differential is even more favorable to US states.
Estimates of the destruction due to Helene hover near $200 billion. It would be nice if citizens got that money rather than the MICCAT.
Before anyone points to the story about an Iran "nuclear test", let me post what I just said over at Karl Sanchez Substack on Crooke's latest. Even Crooke appears to have been taken in by this nonsense:
