1. I think it is high time for Israel to be held accountable for its actions
   and we should consider holding back all funding or military aide to them. These are not the acts of a reasonable or peaceful country. I intend to write about this myself.

Russia entered Ukraine to protect the separatists, Russian speakers, in Donbas from the shelling by Kiev, which had been going on for 8 years, killing 14,000 Ukraine citizens in the Donbas. 3. I still see no evidence that large numbers of Israeli troops are actually operating inside Lebanon. Show me a map with Israeli positions located inside actual Lebanese borders, as opposed to northern Israel contested ground or the Shebaa Farms.

   In other words, find a military analyst who has a clue to do this reporting.

On its northern edge lies the Litani River, one of the last major water sources not in Israeli hands. Water is growing scarce everywhere in the Mideast. The Litani is a major prize, Israel has long coveted the two ancient seaports of Tyre and Sidon. Walking through them takes you back to the Bible. 14. And now The Big Story is that an Iranian missile attack on Israel is 'imminent', and the media is breathlessly reporting the same story. The fun part is that when you do a search on 'imminent Iranian missile attack on Israel' you get links to the same couple of news outlets, and within a page or two of returns you get articles on 'imminent Iranian missile attack on Israel' from months- even years- ago. The US media is building this up to the point where I'm beginning to wonder if there's not a false-flag attack being planned in aid of giving us an excuse to attack Iran as Israel's errand boy.

15. According to Elijah Magnier, Israel has deployed 18 brigades, or perhaps 60-70,000 troops, to the north near the border.

    Do the math. To attack a defending force, you need a minimum of 3 attackers to every one defender. Hezbollah has between 60,000 and 100,000 fighters. Israel isn't remotely capable of defeating Hezbollah on what is essentially a 1 to 1 ratio.

    This proves that Israel's goal is not to invade Lebanon – but to sacrifice thousands of its soldiers in a futile attempt in order to call on the US for help.

    Magnier suggests that Israel intends to surround the Hezbollah forces in southen Lebanon. I view this as even less likely to happen.

    The article below says that Israel has deployed its top of the line armored units to this operation. Apparently the number of Merkava tanks lost in Gaza and the success of Hezbollah in damaging and destroying those tanks with Russian-made antitank missiles both in 2006 and the last 12 months has not sunk in to the incompetents in the IDF.

       Against a fortress, the attackers need a 10:1 advantage. The Lebanese have built a underground fortress
