In an interview with The Washington Post, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Ukraine shouldn’t avoid declaring ambitious war aims of driving Russia out of the eastern Donbas region and the Crimean Peninsula, which Russia has controlled since 2014.
“They have the right to say that they are fighting for the whole of Ukraine,” Stoltenberg said. The Post report said that many US officials privately doubt Ukraine could expel Russia from the region and that such goals would “doom Kyiv to an endless war.”
Stoltenberg has warned that NATO should be prepared to provide Ukraine with long-term support for its fight against Russia. “We need to be prepared that this may actually drag on for a long time,” he said.
Ukrainian President Voldymr Zelensky recently rejected a suggestion from former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, who said Ukraine should cede territory to Russia to achieve peace. Earlier in the war, Russia made clear that its demands for a ceasefire include Ukraine dropping its claim to Crimea and recognizing the independence of the breakaway Donbas republics.
As the war grinds on, Russia is making slow, but steady gains in the eastern Donbas region. Russian forces have also controlled most of the Kherson oblast, which is north of Crimea, for months now, and there are signs that Moscow is considering annexing the region.
Retaking territories now controlled by Russia would take a massive offensive by Ukraine, but Ukrainian forces are taking heavy losses. Zelensky said this week that between 60 and 100 Ukrainian soldiers are being killed every day.
While the US and its allies have shipped billions in weapons to Ukraine since Russia invaded, Ukrainian officials say it isn’t enough to mount a counterattack. Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said Friday that Kyiv “needs more” to mount a “sufficient counterattack and kick them outside of our country to liberate all occupied territory.”
NATO is an empire — ruled by the United States as a kind of proxy. Is it any surprise that the head of this malformed, Frankenstein parrots the US line? The 98-year-old Kissinger hauling himself to Davos to enunciate a realistic, world-affirming POV and being roundly denounced says a great deal about the level of world stupidity going on.
How crazy have things become when war criminal Kissinger is the voice of reason?
He may be a criminal but an intelligent one, and his assessment is that Ukraine should negotiate awsy territory.
Being intelligent he knows that Zelenski does not have a choice of a photo-posing, never mind the prosecutiion of war. Being intelligent he is saying US should quit while it can do it
without being forced to escallate.
Being intelligent he knows that Zelenski is prepared to kill every Ukrainian if US asks bim to. Being intelligent he knows that it is the weak side that will force escallation — as it cannot pull back. Means it is US that is planning nuclear option, as it has set itself
up — cannot let Putin win.
He dragged himself there to send thw message to Zelenski that US really needs this to end. But who exactly is US.? Clearly Zeleski gets him marching orders fro
A didfferent crowd.
Crowd infected by Amber Heard virus of overconfidence and wokeism. Nation resoundly did not buy it, knowing full well Depl is nothing to be proud off. Amber Heards leading us have pushed Russia too far, and now are just thinking withof how to ratchet it up. Amber Hearst with atomic bomb.
What?!
Interesting analysis, Bianca; Why do you think the Russians put their head down and punched up the middle against a combined US/NATO military budget more than ten times its own? Do you see westerners sudden loss of South Pacific naval domination as related?
Yes, that instances the postmodern vision of the West, imperial woke-ism. Wonder if the Ukrainians really understand the ideology they’re willing to give their life for?
Keep in mind that Kissinger’s strategy towards Russia and China, in regards to Vietnam, was to trade with them.
He honestly believed that bringing Russia into our economic orbit would prohibit them from arming their communist allies or helping to undermine our interests.
He also advised Trump to do the same, which was shortly before Trump brought in Rex Tillerson, by the way.
What a difference it might have made if we had tried to get some crony deals for Exxon rather than war. Not that some crony crap deals are automatically a good thing for anyone, they might not have been all that great or “Huge” either. But that was the “realist” view of how to deal with Russia. Nations that rely on each other for Trade, don’t usually want to harm each other. On top of that he hoped to bring Russia into an anti-terrorist alliance, further entangling alliances could be good or bad, but in this case it might have averted a much larger war.
And now we are moving to “decouple” ourselves from Chinese supply lines… Take that for what it’s worth I suppose, but it’s not a move towards peace no matter how you look at it.
NATO members are instructed to commit economic suicide, how can they pay for Biden’s war? Biden is pushing to make EUROPE the real BATTLEFIELD too, resulting in the very thing NATO WAS CREATED FOR.
Only what they did not calculate in is the fact that the USA will be an isolated monster on top of a mountain of rubble when they are done with Russia and Europe, no NATO proxy left. There will be no NATO proxy to reduce China to rubble. Russia is likely to align with China and some of the Russian resources left are closer to China than the US.
What will be the prize for Biden if they would win, his legacy?
Then there are the intercontinental nuclear missiles, reaching across the oceans to the continental USA. Why would Russia and China not use them?
The US has no allies except the UK , the US has vassals, proxies, no more.
This hypocrisy isn’t lost on Hitler in hell, for he sees their blatant racism and ignoring their own crimes in Iraq and elsewhere. How low have the “allied nations” have sunk.
“We’re gonna need you to keep this going until the midterms if you want the money to keep flowing into your bank accounts. We got record inflation due to printing $6.5 trillion, expanding the money supply by 40% in just two years, and we’ll blame that on this war until people have voted. “
NATO Chief Says Russia Should Kick US, NATO Out of Ukraine
And events move closer to the war no one wants and no one can win.
https://patternofhistory.wordpress.com/
Stoltenberg is too modest. He should have advised the drug addict comedian Zelesnky to march towards Moscow to occupy and take over Russia. Is it that Stoltenberg is taking milder hallucinogen?
This sounds like a mess… Billions of dollars in weapons and Ukraine is still stuck in this quagmire? Stoltenberg looks like the bozo on this bus…
Indeed … and Serbia should not give up on getting Kosovo back, right? Notice Jens stated this no matter what the people living in the territories of Crimea and Donbas may think because, you know, we know best and are the final arbiter of all.
I have as much chance to start dating Jessica Alba.
Heh. Did you ask her out for coffee ? Just once tho, cause restraining order. Not that I would know…. ;?)
This talk is what started the war, and it will keep the war going too.
Stoltenberg is almost as retarded as Lloyd J Austin the Turd and Beta Male Blinken. Stoltenberg was never in the military and has no idea what the ramifications of his dilettante actions might foment.
So this week senile Biden meets with Stoltenberg so two idiots will blather at each other.
All you mentioned plus Biden Zelensky Bo Jo are all puppets on the same string. Don’t take them serious. Reach for the handlers.
Stoltenberg is another example of “the race to the bottom” for Western countries in selecting for people in powerful positions.
“Stoltenberg is almost as retarded”
I’d say he’s equally as retarded. Let’s not sell him short.
And compare toupees.
“They have the right to say that they are fighting for the whole of Ukraine,” Stoltenberg said.
You mean the US-supported and Nazi-inclusive team of a comedian and his entourage /scriptwriters/film producers/scene-setters whose every word is lapped up by the Western “free press” are getting your well-considered, peaceful advice for the settling of an existential situation for Russia??
But Yugoslavia didn’t?
Let’s you and them fight.
As long as Ukraine is willing to provide the bodies, NATO will be play the role of cheerleader. AFU troops in the Donbas are beginning to catch on to the game to such an extent that Ukraine’s Parliament considered passing a law to punish them for speaking out. (It failed this time.)
Oblivious to the idea that Russia has the ability to escalate any time they want and that they will if need be.
If Ukraine were to actually pose a threat to Crimea how long would Kiev remain standing? Just the threat of this alone would be enough for Russian sentiment to change towards bringing in the heavy bombers or for that matter using tactical nukes.
It also reminds me of how futile bringing in “heavy weapons” is. They must know that Russia has the ability to target these systems wherever they are employed from and that the use of them will simply make the Russians attack even further inland. And sure it will get more Russians killed and make the war more expensive for them to fight, but at what cost? How many Ukrainians per Russian will die thanks to the new targeting that will be required to combat this new threat? Do they think Russia will just stand by and do nothing to counter these systems? No, they know for sure that Russia has countermeasures for them and that it includes destroying them within minutes of any launch they make.
The idea that new heavy weapons will not be countered with even more force is completely wrong and our own military knows this. Clearly this shows a willingness to once again fight to the last Ukrainian, rather than being a sign of their ability to actually win this fight.
They want to punish Russia regardless of how much it hurts the people of Ukraine and they sell this strategy based on the lie that Russia is hell bent on re-establishing some vast empire, rather than this being a response to a threat on their own border. This is the problem with their calculation. If Russia were trying to take over the world, then making them pay for every inch of territory would make sense. On the other hand if Russians legitimately feel threatened, then every action taken to make them pay is seen as validation of why the price is worth it and more.
Are the Russians acting in an expansionary way or are they acting to shore up their defenses against an aggressive alliance which is determined to harm them? The answer to that question is the answer to how far Russia will go towards securing Ukraine and stopping them from joining this alliance.
A sober analysis shows that Russia does in fact have legitimate security concerns, especially given all the fact regarding our actions in Ukraine, Serbia, Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc. How can one even doubt that Russia feels threatened and how would our current actions be seen as anything but proof that they were correct in their assessment?
This should lead anyone willing to use logic to assume Russia will do whatever it takes to secure Ukraine, which is now clearly seen as an existential threat to Russian existence.
Telling Ukraine they can retake Crimea is also a way of telling Russia to do whatever it takes to destroy Ukraine’s ability to do it. Furthermore, it’s statements like this that show why Russia had good reason to make the move when they did, rather than wait for the day when Ukraine decided on it’s own to retake these areas.
Some time ago president Putin said, there will be no world without Russia. We do know and the Russian people know that this is an existential threat for Russia.
They do know President Biden is the most dangerous man on the planet earth. The USA has become the EVIL Empire. Putin never lowered himself to call Biden names, he has offered diplomatic negotiations with more than reasonable suggestions, which Biden simply ignores. Biden goes for unconditional surrender, Putin must go, Biden alone has the right to say who will govern Russia, he wants control of the Russian resources, privatizing the economy, always the goal of regime change.
President Putin will leave a proud legacy, he did the best he could for his country, Biden will join Hitler in hell, he will leave scorched earth behind. See Iraq and the ME, Biden has his fingers in the pie there too.
The New Axis of Evil:
Amerikkka, IsraHell, and the EU.
NATO really is in control of the EU and the US controls NATO. With the demise of the German economy goes the demise of the EU and NATO. That would leave the USA pretty isolated without NATO, the USA has no allies.
They want to isolate Russia, but China and Russia have the same interests, they oppose the US and so does India and nations in Africa and S. America. Not even Mexico and Canada can be counted as friends, they can only tolerate the monster hegemon called USA. Israel too made lots of enemies and no friends.
NATO and the MIC, the axis of evil.
Putin’s legacy is a relevant question given how sick he is.
However, he will join his dead generals in hell and the new regime in Kremlin will erase him from the history books. Who wants to remember a horrible war they lost?
We don’t really know how sick he is, it could be just another lie.
So far we don’t know the end of the story, but comparing Biden and Putin, if I were a betting person, I would bet on Putin going down in the history books as a great statesman, Vladimir the Great.
Unless there is some SENSIBLE diplomatic settlement now before it turns into a conventional war or worse in Europe, there will be no EU and no NATO left regardless who wins. The US will have no proxies left to fight China, depending on what if anything is left of the globe. Biden is coercing the EU to commit economic suicide starting with Germany, without Germany there will be no EU. NATO is being used as a proxy just as Ukraine. They will not forget.
I’m sure the ones that never will forget are the Ukrainians.
They will hate Russia for several generations, if they wanted to join EU and NATO before then just imagine where they stand today.
The Ukrainians wanted peace that is why they elected Zelensky because he promised peace but never delivered. After the election he joined the neo-Nazis. The people did not want to join NATO they wanted peace. The Americans wanted Ukraine to become a NATO member, after the regime change the Ukrainian economy went down hill, making the nation the poorest nation in Europe. But Zelensky owns property in London and in FL. He is corrupt. Most likely there will be no NATO to join when it is over. The Best that could happen to Europe.
That the Ukrainians wants to join NATO don’t make them into Nazis, the fact is that there are a lot more Nazis in Russia today than there ever been in Ukraine.
As for Zelensky being corrupt, do you have any proof of that or are you just relying on Kremlin’s propaganda?
What has been proved, however, is that Putin and his inner circle are deeply corrupted. Just look at Lavrov’s daughter and her 5 million dollar apartment in London. That is a fact, Renate.
Putin is surrounded by oligarchs and were even implicated in the Panama papers that leaked! He has stolen billions of dollars from the Russian people.
Do you have any proof of Putin’s corruption?
Zelensky has property in London and FL, he is totally corrupt like the whole Ukraine cabal.
Did you ever notice that the US use proxies to fight their wars, even NATO member states are US proxies not serving their people’s interests, the battlefields are always on other continents too.
President Putin is a proud Russian, he made the Russian people proud again and put food on the tables, he reduced corruption and Russian courts arrested and sentenced the perpetrators, oligarchs. He served their nation and the people know it.
As much as I know, President Putin served his people with honor, he deserves our respect whether we agree or not.
I can’t say the same for Biden and others before him either.
As I said, he was implicated in the Panama papers leak.
Do you have any proof of Zelensky’s corruption, I mean real proof?
NATO and the EU are both expanding and thriving, when this is all over NATO will have gained three new members.
As for Russia they will have to start over, it will be tough but I’m sure that after they have replaced Putin they can find a way back to the international community.
Somebody please tell Stoltenberg this show is almost over. And it certainly will not take two decades to mop Ukraine up.
The problem is that Crimea is now a full fledged member of the Russian Federation, any invasion by Ukrane, or NATO would mean total war, with full mobilisation of the Russian army, at leat 6 times more men and material as what is now deployed in the Donbass, PLUS the conscripts, PLUS the reservists. PLUS a likely general mobilisation of men from teh Russian Federattion.
“…… saidUkraine shouldn’t avoid declaring ambitious war aims of driving Russia out of the eastern Donbas region and the Crimean Peninsula, which Russia has controlled since 2014.”
stoltenberg is perhaps representative of many in the US and europe, but he is like the rest of them living completely in an alternative parallel universe – in a word, he and they are out of touch with reality.
they must believe in full their own propaganda and apparently well I don’t know how nato wouldn’t now what I know quite well, that Russia and the breakaway republics are hammering to hell all the ukrainian forces hold up in the Donbass, and also bombing the sh*t out of the rest of the country’s military infrastructure, rail-lines, important strategic bridges, ammo dumps, military training centers, refineries, military repair factories, etc etc etc.
Plus many hundreds, if not thousands, of soldiers have gone awol or else surrendered….. and those numbers are/will increase dramatically in the coming weeks and months
How can Stoltenberg even talk like he does about some big offensive by the failing and flailing Kiev forces, which have easily lost 40,000-50,000 men? He’s either a moron, a dolt, a fool, a propagandist, an imbecile, a pathological liar, or all of these!
I’m going to go with “all of these”
Me too.
Count me in.
Ditto.
Stoltenberg is just one of the rats dancing on the tables in the NATO insane asylum. There is no adult or cat left to supervise.
Hi Renate
My Russian Blue lookalike is an excellent mouser. I’m sure he’d be more than happy to do the job 😉
His family has been the village idiots. “Dolt in burg” Hence Doltenburg!
😆
“60 to 100” Hah! Ukraine is losing ten times those numbers daily. Their front is collapsing or about to, with a dozen or so videos of units asking to be withdrawn because they know it’s hopeless. But the US doesn’t want any units withdrawn so they either stay and die or surrender.
Trolls like this fake “Don Baconn” – who stole his user ID from the real one over at Moon of Alabama, which gives you an idea of his real agenda – can’t change that.
We could start calling him Don Fakin’ 😉
LOL Good one.
Delirious russkies…
You want a reality check? Read Bernhard’s latest over at Moon of Alabama:
Ukraine Beyond Day 100 – Breaking Resistance, Deep Operation, A New Country

Yeah, let’s help the Ukrainians drive Russia out of Crimea — by sending Chickenhawk Chelsea, Yellowcake Liz, and Willard Romney’s five little Mittens to lead the charge.
Send the chickenhawks and their families?😀 Now that’s something I’d be willing to fund! ….. The rest of these interventions….. not a chance.
This is unproductive, we should support Ukraine in what ever it wants to do with Russia up until the 2000 border. If they want to stop sooner, fine they are the ones doing the dying.
Stoltenberg is a maniac.
Stoltenburg has a psychopathic mind on a par with ISIS terrorists.
More of a moron than a maniac in my estimation..
A distinction without a difference.
Add “a puppet”. We (the US), just see how good at fighting those Europeans are after we have “trained” them for 75 years. That way we can get our asses out of there.
Shoigu is an incompetent fool.
Does Stilton-bug really believe the Banderites are already in nato? , they’re not even in EU.. so WHY are you supporting them? And if you do support them, why so half heartedly, why not have nato crossed the border into Banderistan?
In the Donbass Russia is fighting a war of attrition, and they are slowly but surely bleeding out US/NATO manpower, weapons and their economic future. Moscow is well aware that US/NATO has declared war and Russia in the Donbass only, is fighting for the Russian world which includes the Ukraine, and they are winning.
I think most people need to make a reassessment of what the Russian Federation is actually doing in the Donbass. Why do you think they changed course and withdrew from Kiev? They withdrew from Kiev to start a war of attrition not against Ukraine but against the US/NATO Nazified West.
The Russian Federation has only committed 10% of their contract military to maintain a huge reserve should US/NATO do anything stupid. The Russian Federation had obviously been preparing for this for some years and are in a very good position to maintain the war effort for a substantial time.
The US is funding the war and the costs in manpower, weapons and $ must be horrific. As i expected the propaganda war is hitting a reality brick wall and people world wide are waking up.
We all need to consider that Europe is totally dependent on Russia for Oil, Gas, Wheat etc etc etc while Russia is basically self sufficient. Hence Russia can operate fine without Europe. Russia can and will continue this war of attrition until the Nazified West collapses. Note i said until the Nazified West collapses, i did not say until they conquer Ukraine. The Russian Federations goal was never to conquer Ukraine, it was to disarm and DeNazify Ukraine et al.
In reality the US/NATO has no options in the Donbass, its called checkmate. Russia is in the process of conquering the Donbass while bleeding out the Nazified West, and US/NATO can do very little to stop it.
Time for Russia to take out Stoltenberg inside his nato hq asap. A highly paid bouncer -in -chief for US mafia protection racket
Russia says that if U.S. rockets start landing in Russia, they might declare war. As is their right, because that means the U.S. is attacking Russia by proxy.
Slow but steady gains – yes, the problem is the coup regime’s forces are ALWAYS hiding in civilian buildings. In the regime-occupied part of Donbass industries are at the center of every town and city, due to the nature and organization of the region in Soviet times, and the buildings were built to withstand nuclear attacks.
So the regime forces always hole up in those buildings, instead of fighting in the field, which guarantees that Russia has to fire artillery into towns and buildings. So the media can then claim, “Look, they’re attacking civilians!”
“So the regime forces always hole up in those buildings, instead of fighting in the field, which guarantees that Russia has to fire artillery into towns and buildings.”
I can tell you have never served. Using the terrain to your advantage is part of principles of warfare. Your Russians comrade do this too all the time.
“I can tell you have never served. Using the terrain to your advantage is part of principles of warfare.”
It’s called using human shields to create a narrative.
terrain usually refers to landscape features not structures.
Terrain, including airspace, in Military terms is called battlespace. Everything is in it to include urban areas.
Operative word in my post: “usually”
NEWS | June 3, 2014
Key terrain in cyberspace: Seeking the high ground
By Lt. Col. David Raymond, Col. Gregory Conti, Tom Cross, Michael Nowatkowski
In military doctrine, key terrain refers to areas which, if seized, afford an advantage to an attacker or defender. When applied to geographic terrain, this definition is clear. Key terrain might include a hill that overlooks a valley an enemy wants to control or a crossing point over a river that must be traversed before launching an attack
What is terrain in military?
In military. terms, terrain is an area of ground whether large or small whose physical features. affect its suitability for military purposes
Again, if the structures are empty, they are free game and you can use them for maneuver warfare and protection of your assests. If they operate around non combatants, for protection, then that could be known as human shields which Russians don’t care either way.
Neither does Ukraine or any other combatant that finds tactical advantage in doing it.
Don, why don’t you head on over to Common Dreams? They’re full of shitlibs like you.
Some people just want to see the whole world burn. Not sure his basement counts as a bunker.
So, the only structures the Ukrainian forces holed up in were devoid of civilians? Right. If it fits, why not.
Regardless of where they are, artillery misses frequently. And even when assuming someone competent is firing it.
“Russia” doesn’t “have to fire artillery into towns and building.”
Russia could pack up and go home.
Whether it should do that is a different question, but “waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh — they’re making it HARD for us to beat them, those mean ol’ poopyheads” really isn’t that credible an objection.
Especially when it’s voiced here by people who laugh it out of the room when Israel says the same thing about Gaza.
Gaza is one of the most densely populated areas of the world. It would be hard for the defenders to not be in a civilian area. That said, it seems all weaker military forces have pulled that same tactic. It used to be somewhat referred to as guerilla warfare. That was why Lt Calley destroyed a whole village in Vietnam.
And ZelBoy could stop begging the rest of the world for instruments of death and sit his ass down at the negotiating table.
“Russia could pack up and go home ”
Russia is at home that’s the difference, man!
Russki troll, I guess your real name is Fedor.
Parteigenosse describes you.
Sure, comrade.
And you are a Parteigenossin 👍
The Donatsk and Lugansk military forces ARE home. The Ukrainian military forces are NOT from the Donbas. They are from Western Ukraine. And THEY are unwelcome.
The US puppet government in Kiev could have stopped shelling civilians in the Donbas and implemented the Minsk accords. Now, it is the Ukraine military that needs to go home. This is not their home, and the people there are not owned by the Kiev regime.
My sister “served” Bride’s Table at the wedding reception.
lol crimea chose russia.
Jens Stoltenberg is 100% loony.
Ok so Europe is trying to goad US into war with Russia. Wait, it gets better.
Over…..Crimea!!!
If you made this stuff up, no one would believe you.
OK Euro, sure thing. Wait outside, we’ll get back to you.
Churchill was able to use Poland to the same effect with Hitler back in 1939.
I didn’t say it won’t happen. I only say
It is insane.
Translation: The maniacs I work for want to keep selling all the weapons they can possibly produce, indefinitely. I imagine business is booming in Russia too.
The Russian answer to Stoltenberg has already been given: the Russians will level Ukrainian cities one after another. Kyiv is already a new target.
Why doesn’t NATO seize the one third of Syria illegally annexed by US and return it to the Syrians? US occupies and has effectively annexed a third of Syria, its best agricultural and mineral land, intends to keep it indefinitely per Wash. Post in 2018. Unlike Crimea, Syrians held no referendum stating they wanted be part of the US. Nor is English the main language spoken in Syria. Nor has Syria historically been part of the US. US global crimes will never end for one reason: they cannot allow US slaves to be free. “Elections” don’t allow us to vote on issues such as bringing all US troops home. “Both” parties are rabidly for endless wars. Even if we were allowed to vote on bringing all US troops home, congress could subsequently vote that it wasn’t allowed for whatever reason–as they did in 2017 taking all Russia decisions away from Trump. And even if Congress accepted our view, the Pentagon, as we’ve seen, is free to ignore it. US taxpayers must be separated from the global death machine. This can happen by US breaking up into at least 3 parts.
“In an interview with The Washington Post, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Ukraine shouldn’t avoid declaring ambitious war aims of driving Russia out of the eastern Donbas region and the Crimean Peninsula, which Russia has controlled since 2014.”
Perhaps Russia should drive NATO out of Stoltenberg’s country of Norway!
You will see lots of references to Russia making a slow progress; well yes and there is a reason for it. They – the Russians made it quite clear that they would minimise civilian casulties and despite what you see minismise destruction of the infrastructure in the Donbas area. They have done that, but they are against crack Ukrainian troops that have dug in since 2014 / 2015 – just remember that.
Stoltenberg really belongs in a nut house. He can’t be just stupid, he must be crazy and that must be true of the whole US/NATO cabal. There is no one with a rational mind anywhere to be seen. Putin is the only statesman and he has an excellent team working with him. Biden v. Putin, Blinken v. Lavrov and the press secretaries, enough to make you cry. Nothing but little worms representing the dozens of NATO nations. The Biden NATO is destroying the EU without EU there will be no NATO either. Russia will win this game deservedly too. It was all avoidable, and add the incompetence, the stupidity of it all from the Biden team, the neocon Russophobe state department and the military is mind boggling.
All Biden knows is to write checks for Zelensky, no questions asked and the bellicose threats about sanctions and consequences to China and others is just more insanity, sanctioning so-called allies is just as stupid and senseless and our censored MSM is silent, not a word of dissent. The insanity of it all.
And all of the big arms dealers will make a killing (no pun intended) over the next decade. The least we can do for these folks is to give them a huge tax cut on what they make.
And like Hillary said, it can be as long as Afghanistan was, 20 years is not much, Iraq is going on for 20 years, why not add Ukraine, great for MIC and the war mongering Biden and his people.
Nato is begging for a black eye, a bigger and more definitive than the one they were dealt in Georgia 08.08.08. And they’re gonna get it, that’s why Russia is fighting US in the ukraine with only some 10% of its capacity and with less sophisticated and modern arms….
Reports from Donetsk is Ukraine is now shelling that city…with Western weapons, some Polish, some U.S. identified.
Stoltenberg is delusional bureaucrat.
Has anybody told him that Crimea held a referendum in 1991 where they declared independence as the USSR was disintegrating and that Ukraine annexed it by force in 1995?
And has anybody told him that Russia has the only naval base to the Atlantic in Crimea and for them to lose it would be an existential threat and thus the big N?
It is people like Stoltenberg who cannot think which have caused such a debacle.
Crimea rightfully belongs to Ukraine, that’s a fact.
