On Tuesday night, Israeli warplanes simulated a large-scale attack on Iran over the Mediterranean Sea as part of Israel’s massive Chariots of Fire military exercises.
According to Israel’s Channel 13, over 100 aircraft participated in the simulated attack. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said the exercise “long-range flight, aerial refueling and striking distant targets.”
Earlier reports said the US Air Force would join the exercise with refueling planes, but the IDF wouldn’t confirm if Washington participated, and US Central Command (CENTCOM) denied involvement. “There is no direct US military involvement in that exercise,” CENTCOM said.
The provocative drill comes amid soaring tensions between Israel and Iran. Last week, a senior official in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) was gunned down in Tehran, and Israel reportedly told the US it was behind the assassination.
A few days after the assassination, a drone strike hit an Iranian military facility outside of Tehran, killing an Iranian engineer. No one has taken responsibility, but Israel is suspected due to its history of launching similar attacks inside Iran.
Tensions are also high between the US and Iran since talks to revive the nuclear deal, known as the JCPOA, have been stalled. Israel has been pressuring the Biden administration not to revive the JCPOA, and its apparent attacks on Iran could have been an effort to end the negotiations for good.

“There is no direct US military involvement in that exercise,” CENTCOM said
Which means he’s lying or “direct” is now one of those words that no longer matches the dictionary’s definition. Like imminent.
Waste of jet fuel and pollution of environment…!
Iranian Air Force Simulates Large-Scale Strikes on Israel
Oh Warthog, you beat me to it!
It would be appropriate for the US to stand on its own two feet and not cow-tow to Israel in typical fashion. Having a nuclear deal firmly in place is to the benefit of everyone, though it may displease Israel… Israel needs to learn how to live with disappointment…
Iran learns to dispel hate.to stop bullying the smaller gulf states,to keep out of Syrian and Lebanon,to free Kurdistan and the Bahai people. To free political prisoners and all0w a free press,to forget its goals of ruling Mecca and Jerusalem, and use its oil wealth to feed its people, rather than building missiles.
Which smaller gulf states is Iran bullying? Especially compared to the US/Israel? Why isn’t Iran allowed to have allies who invite them into their countries? And how can you possibly talk about another country and how they treat their people when the Israeli’s practice apartheid and shoot unarmed people on a regular basis? And whether there are political prisoners and whether they have a free press has nothing to do with the belligerence that is dished out to them. Israel wants all failed states in the region. Absolutely nothing you say justifies any kind of large-scale simulated attacks on Iran and are pre-emptive in nature which is against international law. But f*ck international law when it comes to the US/Israel, that only applies to whomever is in the crosshairs.
Imagine that Iran,with 80,000,000 people,offers a small,tiny peace gesture to Israel!
Seeing what Iran does to its own people, what do you think they will do to other nations they dislike?
Iran’s population is irrelevant. And why doesn’t Israel do the same? Especially with the superpower in their back pocket.
And yet once again you bring up Iran’s internal affairs. Israel has a nation state law that makes certain citizens have more rights than others. And we already know how they treat people they dislike by how they brutalize the “cockroaches”. They also joined in on the Abraham Accords with countries with similar track records as Iran. And of course, never mind that Iran hasn’t attacked anyone without being provoked for 200 years. Israel can’t go two weeks. But keep that imagination working.
Soooo…IsraHell is ensuring that Iran will reach nuclear capability. Good on IsraHell!
The jets must have flown 50 times between Tel Aviv and Cyprus to simulate long-range flight and refueling…!
