From Iran’s point of view, the fall of Muammar Gadhafi of Libya is a good thing. He was no friend to the Islamic Republic which considered him a flamboyant despot almost as bad as the despised former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, and a sell-out to Israel. But Iran has had no time to celebrate, fearing America’s hand in the affair may portend a new foothold for the treacherous West to assert its economic and political domination over the region.
When 99 percent of Libya stays out of the rebellion, when both the Gaddafi and rebel forces make no effort to win the hearts and minds of the people, when instead they use deadly force, the whole deadly force and nothing but satanic deadly force, don’t expect the new government to be anything but a deadly force dictatorship. For unless the people show concern for others by demanding forgiveness, reconciliation and a quiet peaceful society, only deadly force will ever rule society.
That has as much do do with the war as oil surroding countrys for more illegal wars.
Iran has every reason to be suspicious of our intentions in Libya- I certainly suspect our intentions there.
