A new video from ISIS shows a young boy of indeterminate age executing a pair of “Russian spies” who the group claimed to have captured, and who were interrogated on the video.
One of the men confirmed he previously had worked for Russia’s FSB security agency, and was told to collect information abut ISIS. The other was a Kazakh citizen who also claimed to have been recruited to spy on ISIS.
Such video confessions are common in the Middle East, and are often coerced. There was no further information on either of the men, though ISIS did claim that one of them had killed an ISIS fighter.
Though ISIS videos often feature children, this is the first time a child was seen to have carried out an execution in one of the videos.
I wonder how much longer the sane members of Islam are going to stand by and allow such barbarity continue. Perhaps the Imams are having as much trouble squaring the rogue jihadis with their true religion – just as the Christians are having trouble squaring their warmongering with the true Christian teachings. It's time to end the self-inflicted blindness of how the true teachings of both religions have been corrupted and how the "believers" have been duped.
in times chaos the most ruthless and the most barbaric prosper and isis takes the cake in those regards as even the psychotic crazies of aq are condemning them. all muslims can do is condemn them and denounce them based on scripture and keep doing that until it takes effect and the media outlets regardless of affiliations feature the guys who have the credibility in the muslim segments which are being duped by isis. there are loads of muslim scholars who fit that bill. the west instead of doing this feature westernized secular guys with muslim names who sprout inane garbage targeted at the western audience to get some benefits and who have no credibility to the muslim world in general.
