A blast tore through the Bid Ganeh base on the outskirts of Tehran Saturday, killing at least 17 people and wounding a number of others. Among the slain was Major General Hasan Moghaddam, a top commander of Iran’s artillery and missile unit.
Iran’s military termed the blast an accident, saying that it was caused when ammunition being moved by troops caught fire. The ensuing explosion caused a major shockwave, damaging a number of nearby buildings.
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak, however, thought the explosion was great news, saying he didn’t know the extent of the damage caused by the blast but said “it would be desirable if they multiply.”
Israel, of course, has been threatening to attack Iran for decades. Even so, it is extremely unusual for a high profile official to publicly celebrate the deaths of foreign soldiers in an accidental blast, let alone to root for more in the future.

I wonder what the reaction would be if Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said "I didn’t know the extent of the damage caused by the Holocaust was but it would be desirable if it multiplied."
Oh well, it appears that Bid Ganeh is yet another example of why brothers and sisters should never propagate. When God told the sons and daughters of Israel to go forth and multiply I don't think this is what he had in mind.

Iran states bad things abut Israel and they cry antisemtic and holocaust denier. The Defense minister of Israel openly welcomes the death of the workers at that plant but some how that is acceptable to the blood thirsty war mongers. I am sorry but I am sure iran would be happy if Israel and the USA had nothing to due with it. The problem for Iran is they know that an already nuclear armed nation with a long record of attacking others will not leave Iran alone. You can pick the USA or Israel as to the nation which will attack Iran for wanting nuclear weapons. Like the cry of blood it is ok for our naiton to have nuclear weapons and not for Iran. I can not imagine a nation more likely to kill millions with nuclear weapons that a person who suggest an accident killing many is a good thing and he desire to see more death.

There might have been some Palestinians who celebrated. But the Palestinian leadership, i.e. Yasir Arafat, certainly didn't.

There is balance in this world and one day Israel will be forced to eat the arrogance they flaunt in everyone's face. In a country with a relatively small population and completely surrounded by those Israel threatens on a daily basis, you have to wonder if they have societal suicidal tendencies – or maybe they just believe that their GOD will protect them. Considering it was probably a Mossad job, I can understand why he would be cheering. Besides, other than Amerikans, no one can cheer bloodshed, death, chaos and destruction the way an Israelite can. Except when it is rightfully bestowed upon his kind, of course.
