The discussions regarding exactly how large a bribe the United States would have to give Israel in return for a 90 day partial settlement freeze have stalled today, according to Israeli officials, who say the Obama Administration is back-tracking on some of its pledges.
The US was said to be offering an enormous number of diplomatic pledges as well as several billion dollars in free military equipment, but since Israel demanded that the offers be put in writing, some of the offers seem to be sticking points. Israel confirmed receiving at least some of the guarantees in writing, however.
Israeli Minister of Science Benny Begin, one of the Likud officials leading the charge against the deal, says the US promise of “free stealth fighters” seems to be slipping, and warned that the deal was a “trap” by the Obama Administration designed to trick Netanyahu into a freeze.
The peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority stalled in September when the previous settlement freeze expired. Since then, Israel has been massively expanding its settlements and even if the Obama Administration manages to get some sort of minor freeze out of them, it is unclear if it will be able to save the talks anymore.
If israel wanted peace, bribes would not needed. israel wants all of the land with no Palestinian state or claims for the land of Palestine. Furthermore, israelis will not acknowledge any borders for israel. How could Palestinians under any circumstances agree that israel should be a jewish state when israel will not proclaim that any of the land of Palestine is Palestinian? The United States can no longer afford to support israel. The U.S. does not spend enough to educate even the top one percent of our high school graduates. Yet, we are taxed so that israel can educate its young while we neglect those who will contribute the most to our own country. If israel wants peace it will stop taking the land from the Arabs and stop making trouble in the Middle East.
I am waiting for hell to freeze over but I refuse to send a written statement to the devil about what I will give him to see this happen.

Past experiences have shown that The US has no leverage over israel. Furthermore, US politicians have never denied their allegiance when Israel is concerned, particularly in the arena of Arab-Israeli conflict. Therefore, it is a waste of time to expect a just solution from a biased mediator. The irony is that the US is coming up with a new farce-play pretending that by offering Israel a variety of incentives, bundled as security Guarantees, it will convince the Israelis to suspend their settlement on the Palestinian Land. On the other hand, we all know that Israel has never stopped building even under the moratorium set by the US and accepted by Israel.
If Obama is sincere in reaching a peacaful settlement, he would stand firm on what he promised the Arab and Islamic people. Until now, nothing could confirm Obama's re-election for a second term which makes his tenure as the only term to be judged by. There is a chance that should he possess enough courage to confront enemies of peace, he might convince the majority of the American people to swing to his side for the coming elections.
Paying pirates to return stolen goods seems to be of biblical fairness when compared to this travesty.
