In a rare announcemcent of a foreign plot, Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency is reporting that it has evidence that dozens of people with European citizenship, including a large number of highly educated Pakistanis are flocking to the tribal areas looking for terrorist training.
Officials say that there are as many as 20 British citizens in North Waziristan and “several dozen” people with citizenship elsewhere in Europe. Militant groups have been keen to recruit people with such citizenship because they could travel freely within the European Union.
The report may well be linked to last week’s claims of a “credible but non-specific” plot to carry out a Mumbai-style attack against some site in Europe or North America. The US has insisted that the massive escalation of drone strikes into the tribal areas is because of the plot.
Yet ironically it is opposition to those drone strikes and to the US-led war in Central Asia in general which is fueling the surprising trend of educated, not-particularly-religious Western citizens seeking to carry out militant attacks across the West.
The most obvious previous example would be the Times Square bomber, who started out as a relatively anonymous financial advisor living in Connecticut before deciding to travel to Pakistan to seek training and carry out his (ultimately failed) attack. Increasing concern about people who aren’t exactly “likely suspects” is fueling a flurry of new warnings about the attacks, and a US travel advisory against the entire continent of Europe.
ISI has to dance what the americans want. They are murderers and consiperators against Pakistan as the interion minister is a corrupt ex civil servant

I would not be Chan of those US CIA members with dual citizenship were part of those fueling the fight, since they enjoy violence and torture so much. Amazingingly spending over $3 Trillion Dollars, Killing over 5,000 US soldiers & torturing & killing over a 1/2 million children & women & bread winners the supposed man who has never been able to be charged with anything because ?????, neverthe less he hasn't aged a day in the picture they showed this morning, even though people are hunted like trophies in AFghanistan (The US kill Team), unarmed slaughter by the 1,000's in Shebergham with the help of Gen. Dostum, millions of innocent middle class just trying to make a living have lost home, and family members, & the same is true Pakistan, Yemen and in the UK since there were a number of fathers who went to help the poorest people in the world just like Greg Mortenson of 3 Cups of Tea & ended up tortured in Guantanamo. Shaker Aamer shows on his records he was cleared in 07, but remains in solitaire though his 4 UK children & the country want his return. When I walked house to house, everyone knew we have been evily torturing in Guantanamo. The UN has stopped nothing, in fact it has supported all of this evil.
Interestingly, none of this is being taken very seriously in Europe or more to the point, it has been taken as the security people simply puffing up their own importance and thereby, justifying their own existence (and inflating their budgets).
How do we know the drone strikes are the reason people are seeking this so called "terrorist training"? Does it really matter why in the end? We're not leaving afpak anytime soon, they're flocking in to kill americans and destabilize the afpak governments. What is it that they really wish to accomplish in the end? Do they think things will be better for them under wahhabi rules? If our own commanders weren't so married to the incredibly inept Kabul kleptocracy, we could clean house and let the ordinary people self-determinate. The right of self-determination is important. If it is disallowed, then you haven't accomplished anything except more bloodshed and killing. It's a brutal game that isn't being played for the benefit of anyone except the war profiteers. A stupid stratgey against stupid people, carried out by morons and who pays the price? Always the poor and underpriveledged.
What would prevent a proud German from training to get back at the Americans and other Europeans for destroying his country after WWII?
Why training people who want to defend their country is called terrorism while training real terrorists like the cowardly monsters in the US military not so?
