That's because the members of the U.S. government are suborned individually long before they get anywhere near a position of influence. The amount of SLPC/ADL/AIPAC/Israeli propaganda that goes into prepping candidates for offices and various bureaucrats and law enforcement officials is enormous, to the point that it can truly be described as a system. So it's no surprise that Washington does Israel favors for next to nothing.

To hell with Susan Rice. If you compare her stated policy in the UN towards both Israel and Sudan, you will see blatant hypocrisy when it comes to the issue of willingness to pursue so-called war crimes charges against the two foreign governments. It's all about politics, both hers personally and the "special relationship".
