William S Lind says that bombing is bad news in 4th generation warfare… Wasn't this "new guy" going to "protect" the "people of Afghanistan" ……????? The reason no one has EVER gotten over on the folks in Afghanistan….. is… That…there is NOTHING [there] to make the effort of overcoming these brave WONDERFUL people worth what it would cost to succeed… combined with plural marriage which produces lots and lots of YOUNG knowledgeable [of the local area] ready to repel the foreign MORONS.. ignorant enough to waste their national treasure dying ….. ten thousand miles from their kin.. The place has a reputation as being the graveyard of empires.Good Luck Fools!
