What a surprise?? Hell NO... Of course not... It makes him [Maliki] look bad for his convivial relationship with the occupying/torturing invading outside power....It weakens Maliki's position. It seems holding onto power is the ONLY consideration that politicians have these days... But, the only bright spot may be Pres. O's compliance with the request may show that the Pres IS serious about getting out and is willing to spend political capital to avoid situations that could prolong the occupation...like the photos.....Let's release one a day till they are out....That's my solution...
