Interesting illustration of the comical farce that is Iraqi " 'sovereignty' ".

Appeal to the Iraqi court in order to justify the murder of Iraqis -- "it was legitimate because the court authorized it!" -- but when the same courts demand accountability and consequences for the military forces who allegedly appealed to the court in order to justify the killing, suddenly these courts have no legitimacy at all.

In other words: we'll kill whoever we like, whenever we like, and fabricate or invent whatever justification we like -- and immediately contradict that justification at any time in order to maintain our "right" to murder people at will in an occupied country.
